In December the movie is ‘A Christmas Carol’. This musical stars Kelsey Grammer, Jesse L. Martin, Jane Krakowski, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Geraldine Chaplin & Jason Alexander. An old bitter miser is given a chance for redemption when he is haunted by ghosts on Christmas Eve. This is an excellent adaptation of Charles Dickens’s classic tale.

Interested in writing your life story, telling others about the wonderful holiday you had or the marvellous classes you have joined? The SwanCare Writing Group will start again towards the end of February 2021 and you are invited to join us in a fortnightly class which provides humour and self-satisfaction. Some stride it out while others go along at a more leisurely pace or use walking frames.

Another year almost gone! It’s been a mixed-up year, but we managed even if we had to do our dancing on the balcony and limited numbers for a while. We now have a new format, the usual session at 9.30am for 30 mins. We then break for morning tea and have a more advanced class at 11.00am. Our November social dance (our 30th to date) was a good, fun evening. The evening consisted of twenty-three dances, mostly line dances. Our next dance will be 3rd Feb 2021 - date to be re-confirmed.
