Learn about film making...
If you’ve ever dreamt of making a documentary film, this is the course for you. Delivered by Iconic Steps, the course teaches you everything you need to know about how to develop and pitch documentary ideas and then to develop the chosen concept into a documentary to screen to family and friends. Media professionals who work within the industry provide expert guidance to course participants and will help them to forge crucial contacts; set up interviews; film vox pops; and, ultimately, edit a final cut. Working closely with experts will help to improve both your skills and employment opportunities. This course is open to Swan residents aged 16-25. If you are interested and would like to find out more call the RICD Team today on 01277 844242 or email involvement@swan.org.uk

We want all of our residents to feel safe in their homes and communities and take reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) on our estates seriously. We work closely with Safer Neighbourhood Teams who can help allocate extra Police resources to areas they identify as ASB hotspots. ASB covers many things including hate crime, racial abuse, fly tipping, graffiti, animal nuisance etc. You can help your community by reporting ASB every time you witness it by calling 101 or by calling Ricky Lawrence from the Safer Neighbourhood Team covering Stepney and St. Dunstan’s on 0208 721 2808. You can also report ASB to Swan by calling 0300 303 2500.
