Celebrate Art’s Birthday as we present the UK film premiere of Old Age Should Burn And Rave At Close Of Day by Matt Hulse with Elizabeth Lawrence. Fri 27 Jan 1pm Artist Talk: Vetch Veg. Artist Owen Griffiths will discuss his latest project, Vetch Veg, where he has turned the former Swansea City ground into a community allotment. Fri 10 Feb 1pm Artist Talk: Welsh Artist of the Year 2011. Paul Emmanuel, discusses his work including his unique ‘painted fleeces’, and his exchange to China, organised by the Glynn Vivian. Sat 25 Feb 3.30pm Free:30 Sessions Present: Thistledown. Swansea band Thistledown bring their unique brand of alternative modern folk to the first 2012 Free:30 Session. Sat 10 Mar 2pm Film Bunker Presents: Between Two Rivers. New documentary feature film by Jacob Cartwright and Nick Jordan. The film centres on Cairo, Illinois, a historic rivertown with a dark and troubled past. Fri 30 Mar 1pm Glynn Vivian Commissions: Anthony Shapland film. Anthony Shapland will debut his interpretation of the Glynn Vivian, focusing on the unseen spaces of the gallery.
