Depending on the occasion, our buildings can be grand and imposing, small and intimate or anything in between! Stimulate your creative side in one of our parks-based education spaces, or keep it local and convenient at a community library. This guide is designed to give you a taste of what’s on offer, with further details just a phone call or e-mail away. Brangwyn Hall and Guildhall Rooms Whether you are looking to host a large conference, a training day, or team-building activities, we can offer a range of room sizes to suit your needs. The Brangwyn Hall itself will be closed for essential repairs and refurbishment from July 2013 until July 2014, but many smaller rooms will still be available. Swansea Grand Theatre With its unique central location, and huge range of rooms, the Grand is perfect for a host of events from award ceremonies and AGM’s, to training seminars and interviews. We can accommodate meetings large and small in a variety of spaces, including the Depot studio with sprung dance floor and Rooftop CafÊ bar with outdoor balcony. Penyrheol Theatre We can welcome up to 500 people in our two very different spaces. The theatre auditorium can be set up with rows of seats or round tables, in addition to tiered seating on the balcony. Our Dance Studio is a smaller, flexible space with room for up to 50 people. Swansea Museum A landmark building in the heart of the city. Swansea Museum offers a unique setting for your event. We have two large, flexible rooms which are suitable for a number of occasions. Wales National Pool Wales National Pool Swansea has both conference and meeting facilities for hire. Our two rooms enjoy a superb location overlooking both the training and the 50m swimming pools. Plantasia A meeting venue with a difference! Although it’s located in the city centre, Plantasia feels like a world apart. A place to hold meetings in an inspiring and exotic setting, Plantasia enjoys ample parking and easy access. Early daytime use is limited, but late afternoon and evening availability can be arranged. Ty’r Blodau, Singleton Park Ty’r Blodau is a classroom located in the heart of the Botanical Gardens. The spectacular views and tranquil setting are conducive to creative working and thinking ‘outside the box’ whilst you are away from the office setting. Discovery Centre, Brynmill Park The Discovery Centre sits on the banks of Brynmill Lake. This location, its views and the bright artistic decoration create the perfect setting for creative thinking and productive meetings. Bishopston Sports Centre Our newest sports centre is located next to Bishopston Comprehensive School. There are five rooms available for hire and ample parking for cars and coaches. Penlan Leisure Centre We have a multi-purpose room which is air-conditioned and provides flexible accommodation for meetings, training or small courses. Local libraries: Brynhyfryd & Clydach Local, friendly and convenient; why not use one of our libraries for your small meetings or interviews? These could be the perfect, reasonably priced answer if you just need to get away from the office but want to avoid unnecessary cost and travel time.
