Brynmill Park is a Victorian Grade 2 listed Park and is one of the oldest Parks in Swansea. In 2006 the Heritage Lottery funded the restoration of Brynmill Park, a highlight of which is the Discovery Centre.

This centre provides people the opportunity to explore the parks history and wildlife.

The focal point of the park is its lake that hosts a rich variety of wildlife. The walk will also incorporate Singleton Park and will take 1 hour with some inclines.

Directions • Facing out from the Discovery Centre entrance, turn right • Walk under the pergola and take the next right, with the lake on your right • Turn right at the end of this path and continue to the bottom gate • Cross the road ahead and cross at the crossing,enter singleton park • Follow the pathway straight ahead and up an incline • At the end turn right and continue until the signposts • At signpost take the left fork going up hill with the fencing on your right • Enter the Botanical Gardens on your right at the bottom entrance • Take the left path • At the Botanical Gardens toilet block turn right • At the end of the path turn left and carry on up and out of the Botanical Gardens through the top gate • Turn right and then right again past the stone circle on your right • Take the path opposite the toilets down towards the exit • Leave Singleton Park, cross road and re-enter Brynmill Park • Take the left path up slope and around the pond and back to the Discovery Centre.
