Conditions Please note the following: For this year’s training booklet there will be a £20 charge per
place for all mandatory training. This is a necessary introduction to allow us to continue to offer training at what remains a heavily subsidised rate and will be payable by credit/debit card at the time of booking. If you cancel up to 48 hours before the date of training, you
will be placed on the next available course. All these courses will be offered on a first come first served
basis. Places will be limited to TWO attendees per setting. Confirmation letters will be e-mailed (where possible)
approximately two weeks before the course date. No bookings will be accepted before the booking dates
outlined. Food and refreshments will not be provided at training
courses therefore delegates are advised to bring these along.

Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) Facilitated by Ajuda Training Limited _____________________________________________________________ This regulated first aid qualification is specific to infants aged under 1, and children aged from 1-year-old to the onset of puberty. It fulfils the requirements of the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as issued by the department for Education and Skills Foundation Stage relating to Early Years childcare. Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) Facilitated by Ajuda Training Services _____________________________________________________________ This regulated qualification is ideal for anyone wishing to become an emergency first aider. This provides learners with skills and knowledge to deal with first aid situations in low risk workplace environments in line with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 Course objectives and learning outcomes On completion of this course delegates will be able to recognise and treat a casualty who has suffered from the following conditions: The candidate will also be fully aware of their roles and responsibilities as a First Aider. By the end of the course the candidate will be able to: Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider. Be able to assess an incident. Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally . Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing Normally. Level 2 Award in Food Hygiene (RQF) Facilitated by Ajuda Training Services ____________________________________________________________ This regulated qualification is designed to provide the essential underpinning knowledge and skills to work in the food industry. It is fully compliant with industry and regulatory standards. Topics covered are regarded by the Foods Standards Agency as important to maintaining good practice in the production and handling of food safely. The course will suit a diverse range of learners including adults, schools, community groups and businesses etc. who work in or intend to work in the catering industry including those involved in the storage, preparation, cooking and handling of food. Course objectives and learning outcomes By the end of the course delegates will have a clear understanding of the importance of ensuring appropriate food hygiene within the workplace. At the end of the course students will be able to: Understand how individuals can take personal responsibility for food safety within a catering environment. Understand the importance of maintaining personal health and hygiene in a catering environment. Know how the working areas are kept clean and hygienic within the catering environment. Know how to keep food safe within a catering environment. This course will be delivered in a classroom environment via power point presentations, discussion and lectures. There is a multi-choice question paper at the end of the course in which delegates will be required to pass in order to gain this qualification.

This course is an accredited level 2 unit – Agored Cymru. Please bring a form of photographic I.D. as delegates will be required to register with Pembrokeshire College in order to gain accreditation. Delegates will also be required to complete a workbook throughout the day. This course will provide the knowledge and understanding required for safeguarding the welfare of children and young people. After the course delegates will be able to: Identify the legislation, guidelines, policies and procedures for safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, including guidelines on e-safety. Understand how to safeguard children, young people and practitioners in a work setting. Mindfulness Facilitated by Mary Rose Jones and Tanya Isaac, Family Centre Officers _____________________________________________________________ This course is designed to provide some simple information and advice about how to implement Mindfulness with school aged children. It offers an explanation about the benefits of Mindfulness and some tools, techniques, strategies, games and meditations that can be used to support a child’s emotional and physical well-being. Many children may experience negative feelings, stress, anxiety or anger and have difficulty coping with these emotions. Using Mindfulness with children can promote a sense of calm and allow children to develop an understanding of their own feelings and how best to manage them.

Delegates attending all training courses will be expected to:
Be polite, courteous, respectful and honest at all times.
Turn up on time and stay for the duration of the course. It is not acceptable to request permission from the course facilitator to leave early on the day of training.
Actively participate, contribute to and demonstrate interest in course content.
Make all formal complaints in relation to the training programme in writing. Complaints should be factual, precise and constructive in nature and be forwarded to the Family Information Service within 10 days of occurrence.
Please be aware that the times stated on your confirmation are the minimum participation time required by the awarding bodies in order to award certificates and that trainers have the authority to refuse entry to delegates arriving more than 10 minutes late. Similarly trainers have the authority to refuse certification for delegates leaving more than 15 minutes before the scheduled end time.

Send no more than 2 delegates from the same childcare setting per course.
Make cancellations 48 hours before the course start date.
In respect of mandatory courses, agree to relinquish the £20.00 fee for failure to notify of non-attendance and late cancellation of place/s. A cancellation is exactly that, regardless of the severity of the issue.
