BREAKING THE STRING Breaking the String is one of Frank’s favourites. It’s a piece of theatre that works on more than one level and whilst being quite funny with more than its share of laughs, it also has a serious side. It’s one thing to make people laugh… it’s another to make them cry… but if a play can make you do both, then it becomes theatre at its best. Frank will be repeating his role as the husband Ron again for you this autumn. Try not to miss it… it’s a tour de force!

JULIAN CLARY FLASH A TRIBUTE TO QUEEN

RUMPLESTILTSKIN

Flash have been paying homage to the world’s most theatrical and dramatic rock band since 1995. Front man, Scott Maley, plays an uncannily realistic Freddy with just the right look, stage persona and, most importantly of all, the most incredibly powerful voice!

In Much-Muddle-On-The Marsh, greedy baker Pru blurts out to King Melvyn that her daughter, Daisy, can spin gold from straw. The King immediately locks Daisy in the stables, demanding that she turns all the straw into gold.

Featuring an enormously talented band, including Nathan Mathers who brings all the electric guitar virtuosity required to play a very convincing Brian May, their attention to detail is truly impressive.

All looks doomed until a strange little man, Rumplestiltskin appears, offering to spin the straw into gold in return for her necklace. Find out what happens next...

JOE LONGTHORNE

POSITION VACANT. APPLY WITHIN.

Joe’s big break came in 1981 when he was a finalist on London Weekend Television's Search for a Star; this led to appearances at the London Palladium with Bob Hope and The Talk of the Town. A short time later, Joe received the Variety Club of Britain award as Most Promising Artiste of the Year.

Julian Clary is looking for love and he’s not leaving town empty handed…

Joe's repertoire of voices is endless and includes hundreds of the world's top singers. However, he is perhaps best known for his impersonation of Shirley Bassey, who has commented, “Joe can do me better than I can do myself.”

£18.00 - £21.00

Master of camp, Julian Clary is scouring the land in search of love. “Because I’m still considered to be quite a catch and because your town is noted for its heterosexuals on the cusp, there’s bound to be stiff competition,” says Julian. “Therefore I’ll be hosting ruthless elimination games. You can be sure of one thing, by the end of the evening, we’ll all be celebrating my new partnership.”
