Starring Frank Vickery and Di Botcher. Following the massive success of Tonto Evans, Frank is back with another hilarious comedy. Marlene is a mother... a very interfering one. She has an unbearable influence on the lives of her family - and now she has set her sights on finding a wife for her son. On a weekend break in a caravan in Porthcawl she sees her chance; Bev, who owns the caravan, would be the perfect match for Darren, no matter what anyone else says! As she plots to get one child hitched, the other one turns up on the run from her husband, just as Marlene is ready to give the devastating reason for her over-protective behaviour. Then someone said could we start again please? Someone hummed an unexpected song and within half a moment we had that everything’s alright feeling. Based on the Gospel according to St Matthew, it deals with the last days of Jesus, and includes dramatized versions of several well-known parables. And yet it is something more - a religious experience, a demonstration of joy, and a celebration of the family of man. A Summer Night’s Concert

A Very Royal Mission

The Vienna Proms is based closely on the wonderful summer concerts given in Vienna each year. The National Concert Orchestra perform a full program of the ever popular melodies of Strauss, Mozart, Beethoven, and other great Austrian composers of the period. The concert also features the dance routines of the ‘Strauss Waltzers’ who make impromptu appearances, dressed, of course, in the ‘glitzy’ costumes of the period. The concert closes in the traditional manner, with the rousing ‘Radetsky March’, whilst having featured memorable favourites such as ‘The Blue Danube Waltz’ ‘Die Fledermaus’ ‘An Artiste’s Life’ ‘Tritsch Tratsch Polka’ ‘Wine, Women and Song’ and many, many more.

In Pencaster, everyone has received a letter from the Palace, delivered by Pat and his faithful cat Jess, of course. Someone special is coming to open the brand new Sorting Office and they only have a short time to get themselves, and Pencaster, prepared for a very royal visit. What could possibly go wrong...?

£15.50 - £19.50 Selected concessions available✦

Get ready for takeoff and join Pat and his friends in 90 minutes of fun and participation, and remember, no job is too big - the special delivery always gets through! Mission Accomplished!

Oklahoma!

By Lynne Mackay

4 WOMEN * 3 YEARS * 2 FAMILIES * 1 WAR

Starring Marti Webb and Mark Evans

This is the 1st of 3 ‘prequels’ to the highly successful musical, ‘Swansea Girls’. Starring Menna Trussler, Kevin Johns, Claire Hammacott, Richard Burman, Nia Trussler-Jones, Stefan Pejic, Dean Verbeck & Sophie May Morgan. The story centres around two families from the Sandfields area of Swansea during the 2nd World War - in particular, childhood sweethearts Lizzie & Alfie - and how the war affects their futures. Over 3 years, we follow them through romance, tragedy, laughter and tears as the families struggle to cope with the horrors of war and the arrival of the GIs. The show contains 25 new songs, all written in the style of 40s popular music.

Set on America’s Western Frontier, against a background of conflict between farmers and cattlemen, Oklahoma! perfectly integrates song, dance and story to tell the tale of farm girl Laurey and the two rivals for her affections, happy go-lucky cowboy Curly and the sinister farm hand Jud. Famously, the show opens with ‘Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’ and contains a sumptuous and rousing score full of wonderful songs such as ‘The Surrey with The Fringe on Top’, ‘People Will Say We’re in Love’, ‘Many a New Day’, ‘I Cain’t Say No’, and the final rousing chorus of ‘Oklahoma’ - as the music soars the audience is carried along on the emotional journey of one of the most famous love stories in musical history.

Director-Kathryn Rice, Musical Director-Lynne Mackay, Choreographer-Lloyd Carthew, Producer-Nia Trusller-Jones.
