Spanish Lies By Frank Vickery Following the massive success of Frank’s brand new black comedy, Barkin’, he’s back with another comedy classic. What better way for Dougie and Lorna to celebrate 25 years of wedded (sort-of) bliss, than to return to the Majorcan hotel where they honeymooned as excited newlyweds, but it’s more heartbreak hotel than happy holidays for the couple, who find the rain in Spain isn’t the only thing to put a dampener on things. Dougie had been hoping to put the spark back into their flagging relationship, but wasn’t expecting the fireworks that the holiday brings! The hotel is still managed by the same couple, Regietta and her husband Miguel, the local Casanova whom Lorna fell for all those years before, and now Lorna is suddenly faced with the mundane reality of her life and has some tough decisions to make. This is classic Frank Vickery farce, packed with classic one-liners.

Dylan Moran Yeah, Yeah

An Evening with Rick Wakeman

Dylan Moran, star of ‘Black Books’ , ‘Shaun of the Dead’ and ‘Run Fat Boy Run’, is about to spread a little happiness with a brand new tour for 2011.

If this show were in a cookery book, the instructions would simply read...

Ageing, religion, kids and relationships intertwine with the general absurdities of life. Searing observations and sumptuous imagery, painted across a large fraying canvas with cruel, curmudgeonly ‘Moranesque’ brush strokes and all delivered with Dylan’s renowned, shambolic charm... it’s simply unmissable.

2. After the first piece, sprinkle in a ludicrous and funny anecdote.

1. Take a large concert grand piano and seat Rick Wakeman in front of the keys.

3. Repeat 1 & 2 for approximately 2 hours. These performances don’t happen very often, which is why each one is very special to Rick and hopefully for the audience as well.

Jane McDonald The Tour

West Side Story Following on from the runaway success of Billy Elliot last summer, this talented group of performers bring you West Side Story a modern day version of Romeo and Juliet. With such popular songs as ‘Tonight’, ‘Maria’ and ‘America’, this musical theatre favourite will appeal to all ages, as you follow the battle between The Sharks and The Jets.

Set during the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand this September, this exciting new theatre piece inspired by the 1978 BBC film Grand Slam. Written by Jack Llewellyn, directed by Michael Bogdanov (Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal National Theatre, Wales Theatre Company) Bred in Heaven is set to be one of the major Welsh productions of 2011. Thirty three years have passed since the infamous trip that took Maldwyn, Glyn, Mog and Caradog away for the weekend to see Wales play France in the Five Nations Championship match that decided the Grand Slam title. This time it’s August 2011 and Maldwyn (Siôn Probert) has had an epiphany; he believes he must travel to New Zealand to help Wales reach the final of the Rugby World Cup.

Britain’s favourite diva brings her fabulous new show to Swansea for a sensational evening of music, warmth and laughter. Fresh from record breaking appearances across the UK in 2010, which brought capacity houses to their feet wherever she appeared, this is truly one of the hottest tickets in town. Amongst the exciting changes to this year’s show, is the addition of Jane’s special guest, Daniel Pearce, to the vocal line up. A highly accomplished singer, songwriter and musician with a host of international music credits to his name. Book now for the voice, the power and the magic that is Jane McDonald.
