Keeler By Gill Adams
Starring Paul Nicholas and Alice Coulthard. She was also involved with a Russian spy during her affair with the Secretary of State. The ensuing scandal was in part responsible for the resignation of the Prime Minister Harold MacMillan and the suicide of the man who introduced Keeler to Profumo, Stephen Ward. Based on the 2001 autobiography ‘The Truth At Last’ by Christine Keeler with Douglas Thompson, this play, written by Gill Adams, with Keeler’s sanction and involvement, reveals the sensational inside story of the infamous Profumo affair, the biggest political sex scandal to rock the British nation in the 20th century.
