Thinking about going to uni in 2012/13?
Support is available to help cover the cost of your learning.
You may have to pay up to ÂŁ9,000 per year, but if you normally live in Wales...
...the Welsh Government are introducing a NEW tuition fee grant to help cover the cost!
This means that your maximum contribution is reduced to ÂŁ3,465 for a full-time course, regardless of where you study in the UK.
Your maximum contribution £3,465
New tuition fee grant up to £5,535
You don’t have to pay back the tuition fee grant.
To help cover your contribution you can take out a subsidised tuition fee loan of up to ÂŁ3,465.
If you do take out a loan you won’t have to start paying this back until you are earning over £21,000 per year, so...
...there are NO upfront fees to pay!
What’s more, you can get support towards your living costs with an Assembly Learning Grant and/or living cost loan.
The amount of Assembly Learning Grant you receive will depend on your household income and doesn’t have to be paid back.
The amount you can borrow depends on your household income and where you plan to live and study.
A living cost loan of up to ÂŁ3,673 a year will be available if you live with your parents.
