ood afternoon and welcome to everyone joining us from around the world for our final game of the Championship season against Queens Park Rangers. With the season coming to a close, we can reflect on the season which has been one of transition. There have been a number of highs and lows along the way but ultimately we feel there has been progression throughout the season which stands us in good stead ahead of next season. We were disappointed to see our unbeaten run come to an end at Forest last Saturday, but we will learn from it and make sure we don’t make the same mistakes next season.
Today sees Korey Smith and B e n H a m e r l e a v e t h e c l u b, a n d w e’ r e s a d t o s e e t h e m both go. They ’ ve both played huge parts in what we have been building on and off the pitch and they’re great people so we wish them both all the very best for the future. We want to end the season on a positive note so will be looking to end with a win to show our appreciation to the Jack Army for their magnificent support this season. Whether it is home or away, the support has been superb this season and we’d love to be able to end on a high to show our appreciation.
Today we welcome QPR to the Swansea.com Stadium, they’re a good side who were around the play-offs for large parts of the season. We’ll approach the game like any other game and will go into the match with the right mentality. Thanks for your support this season, we can assure you none of it goes unnoticed and we will continue to work relentlessly to be a team you can be proud of. We’re already looking forward to getting back in for pre-season and starting work on the next campaign to build on what we have already started this season. Enjoy the game today! Matt
