Chris Burton Jacome began playing guitar in 1986 yet his dream of being a flamenco guitarist didn’t emerge until the early nineties. After receiving his two Bachelor’s degrees (one in Classical Guitar Performance and a second in Spanish Literature), he moved to Seville, Spain. While living there he was able to study flamenco guitar with some of the greatest flamenco performers of this era. Chris returned from Spain and has been living his dream by touring the world and playing to sold-out performances, accompanied by flamenco dancers and singers.

The Folk Collection
This four-member group grew up in the 1960’s and learned their 3-part harmony singing the songs of the acoustic era. Their repertoire will be familiar and fun for concert-goers of all ages. Among their selections are hit songs from great television western theme songs, including Rawhide, Maverick, and Bonanza

The Alley Cats
Julian Gargiulo
International classical pianist and composer, Julian Gargiulo was born in Naples, Italy, and studied in Rome, and at the Moscow Conservatory before moving to the U.S. in 1995. He is a dynamic classical pianist who renders the compositions of the renowned masters with extraordinary passion and precision.
Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 - 7:30pm
The Doo Wah Riders
A rare combination of country with a “Cajun twist,’ is the best description of the Doo Wah Riders. Their tight musicianship and powerful arrangements of the “classics’ have made them a concert favorite. The Doo Wah Riders have performed with Garth Brooks, Alabama, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and numerous other Grammy winners.
Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014 - 7:30pm
Beginning at Disneyland’s “Blast to the Past,’ the Alley Cats have performed on many television shows, festivals and even at a USO show, aboard the U.S. aircraft carrier, the USS John C. Stennis, when they welcomed the troops home from Iraq. Currently, the CATS are the opening act for Jay Leno in Las Vegas.*
The San Francisco Munich Trio
The San Francisco Munich Trio includes a bassoonist, cellist, and pianist each highly acclaimed in their own right. They provocatively play a judicious sampling of styles and periods including cello sonatas, bassoon duos and trios leaving the listener with a cornucopia of sound and timbre.
The Jácome Flamenco is supported in part by a grant from WESTAF and NEA.
