Adaptability as a major concern, with functionality as a pivot.The proposed project re affirms that it is derived, in form and function, from their utilitarian origins as well as their extensive historical experience.The design traverses effectively from the regional level,through the neighbourhood level and down to the dwelling unit.Vast islands of informality, social exclusion, poor housing and underdevelopment transform into vibrant neighbourhoods that are fully integrated into the city’s fabric and urban management systems.Land which was being abused at hands of unplanned scattered housing is being potentially trapped to serve the purpose of employment, recreation and socialisation in addition to housing in a far viridescent environment.
