English Simple Past Tense Irregular Verbs Se usa el simple past tense (el pasado simple) para indicar una situación o acción que empezó y terminó en el pasado. En inglés el simple past tense comprende el imperfecto y el indefinido, por lo tanto, hay que traducir según el sentido de la frase.
