Halves are two equal parts of one whole thing. A leaf is the part of a plant that grows from a branch. Leaves are the parts of a plant that grow from branches. A loaf is bread that has been baked into one large piece. Loaves are large pieces of bread. A scarf is a piece of cloth that you wear around your neck and head. Scarves are pieces of cloth that you wear around your neck and head. A thief is someone who steals things. Thieves are people who steal things. A wolf is a wild animal that is like a large dog.
