KIWANIS FAMILY CORNER
North Mountain Lieutenant Governor Olivia Kurschat and I traveled to the chilly city of Flagstaff, AZ from February 24-26 to celebrate a year of service at CKI DCON. Our collegiate counterparts joined in service, fellowship, and leadership through workshops, sessions, and socials. We even had the chance to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and other community projects! I definitely had a blast learning more about their organization and how we can collaborate in our future endeavors. Are you a high school senior? Look into joining Circle K International when you graduate! Some CKI members will be joining us at our DCON to present our very first “Key to College” workshop too!
Kiwanis Mid Year was hosted in my very own home town this year! Hundreds of Kiwanians reconnected in Sierra Vista, AZ to discuss how they can grow through impactful community involvement. Assistant District Administrator Deb DesChene and I had the opportunity to present a Key Club workshop and explain how Kiwanis can further their generous support for our organization. I was excited to see so many familiar faces while meeting more enthusiastic and welcoming Kiwanians!
