The 2016-17 Southwest District Governor's Project is AIDSpirit USA! This non-profit organization focuses on providing education, clean water, medical clinics, housing, and other life essentials for children in Uganda. This year, we are working with the Mighty Montana District to fund the building of a primary school! MARCH OF DIMES & K-FAMILY  
March of Dimes is one of Key Club’s three Major Emphasis Programs. Conveniently enough, November is Prematurity Awareness Month! Spread awareness throughout your homes, schools, and communities through March of Dimes by wearing purple, attending a March for Babies, or hosting a dime drive! November 17th is Prematurity Awareness Day. Wear purple around your school to advocate for prematurity with the Kiwanis Family. Visit marchofdimes.org.
KIWANIS FAMILY MONTH
November is a big month! Host some events for March of Dimes and invite your Kiwanis Family Counterparts! From K-Kids to Kiwanis, there are countless opportunities in your community to connect with our very own family. Organize a picnic, barbecue, kickball
game, service project, fundraiser, luncheon, highway cleanup, or simply just attend a meeting. Get to know the younger members and transition them into Key Club, and show your gratitude to Kiwanis for their unwavering support. Happy Kiwanis Family Month!
