Hello!

The District Board is more than halfway through their term! Although I am a little sad that our time is nearing an end, we still have an exciting five months ahead of us! I am more than proud of how much we have accomplished as a board and as a district. Let’s make the rest of the year one to remember!

Key Leader and Fall Rally are right around the corner! I will be attending both and I hope to see you there. There is some new information in this newsletter about the Youth Opportunities Fund, and Lieutenant Governor Elections. Be sure to read through it and ask any questions that you might have! DCON registration has officially opened! We are releasing it almost six months in advance so you know exactly what you need to have the best experience possible. -Alisa Nguyen

KIWANIS FAMILY CORNER

In K-Kids clubs worldwide, more than 36,000 children are learning leadership through service. They're taking on the responsibility of running a K-Kids club as they plan and participate in community service projects. They assist the elderly with chores or organize community food drives. They serve their schools, raising funds for sports equipment and extracurricular activities. In big and small ways, they're changing the world around them. But the most significant change happens in the kids themselves. Visit www.kiwaniskids.org to work with a K-Kids club near you!
