INSPIRATION Sweet Grass Kitchen’s executive chef Lauren Finesilver created several cannabis desserts for this e-recipe book. Her inspir ation came from combining the simple beauty of weddings with the desire to make cannabis accessible and unintimidating to curious adults. “Weddings are a showcase of the best of everything – people’s love for one another, love for family, and of course food!” she exclaims. “Cannabis is synonymous with community and weddings are a time when people come together,” she continued. “Weddings are also a great place to tr y something ne w.”

Sweet Grass Kitchen’s Cannabis Dessert Bar has something for everyone, from the canna-curious to the experienced consumer. Each dessert is finely dressed and plated to fit seamlessly into any modern Colorado wedding. All of the desserts can be easily made from products already available in most Colorado dispensaries. Sweet Grass Kitchen firmly believes that food is community and we are so thrilled to help couples have a simple and legal way to celebrate as they want on their special day.

CHOCOLATE CHIP DIPS

Ingredients:

Directions:

Sweet Grass Kitchen 10mg Chocolate Chip Cookies, Peanut Butter Cookies, or White Chocolate Chip Butter Pecan Cookies

Evenly arrange mini cookies on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or a stone cutting board.

In a metal bowl, melt chocolate chips over a double boiler - water boiling under the metal bowl. Stir constantly so the chocolate doesn't get too hot.

Once the chocolate is ready, dip the cookie halfway into the chocolate and then place on the prepared surface.

Sprinkle the sprinkles onto the chocolate portion of the cookies before they cool. Allow the chocolate to cure at room temp before serving.

For a sweet and savory boost tr y sprinkling a small amount of pink Himalayan sea salt or Hawaiian black salt!

BROWNIE POPS

Ingredients:

Directions:

Sweet Grass Kitchen’s 10mg Truffle Brownie Bites

Spoon butter cream frosting into a piping bag that is fitted with a straight or star tip.

Pipe a rosette or any desired design onto the top of the brownie to resemble a cupcake.

Add edible decorations (sprinkles, dragĂŠes, or coloring) to enhance the final decorated look.

Place finished brownies on a plate or press them onto skewers for added height and fun!

Ingredients: Sweet Grass Kitchen’s 10mg Snickerdoodle Cookies Buttercream frosting

Sprinkles

For a summer wedding add a dash of lemon juice and a pinch of salt to your buttercream and repeat recipe with Sweet Grass Kitchen’s Lemon Poppy Seed Cookies.

Pair Snickerdoodle cookies upside down on parchment paper.

Spoon butter cream frosting into a piping bag that is fitted with a straight tip. Pipe a circle of frosting onto the middle of one cookie.

Place the other cookie on the buttercream and press lightly spreading the cream evenly between the cookies.

Pour sprinkles of your choice into a bowl, then dip and roll the outer rim of the cookie sandwich, fully coating the buttercream.

Choose complimentar y flavors of cake and Buttermelts. (We chose chocolate cake and Mojito Mint Buttermelts for ours!)

Make a cake if you’re up for the challenge, or purchase one from a local bakery.

Place the Buttermelts on top of the cake. Place one Buttermelt for each slice of cake. i.e. 8 slices, 8 Buttermelts.

Buttermelts look great at parties when presented in wine or champagne glasses, copper mugs, or beer steins.


Remember to always clearly mark infused products at parties and never set them out when guests under 21 years old are present.
