Everything is going swimmingly for our expectant mums! Claire treating herself to fish & chips every Friday. Emma loves Collins Frozen at Sea Cod and finds it hard to resist a trip to the chippy every night, especially working in a business that talks fish all day. However, she somehow manages to maintain a balanced diet! No crazy cravings here, just a tendency towards fizzy drinks – Diet Coke is Claire’s choice, while Emma goes for lemonade. Despite all the healthy Cod she’s been munching on, Emma has not completely avoided pregnancy brain, she said: “During one of my scans I was telling the lady that I would hate to work in a dark room all day. “A few minutes later she asked me if I had windows where I worked and I answered yes but wasn’t sure if it was Vista or XP. I had completely forgotten the conversation we just had.” It also appears to be true that pregnancy has an effect on dreams. Emma had a dream featuring a dog in heels, while Claire’s might be even weirder – she would not divulge exactly what her dreams entailed! These crazy dreams do not appear to be keeping the ladies up at night – they have enjoyed working throughout their pregnancy with few complaints (besides Emma’s chippy temptation mentioned above!)
