Welcome to Swienty On the following pages we would be happy to introduce our family-owned company. We would, of course, be even more pleased to welcome you on our old farm premises in Ragebøl, a small village in the beautiful south of Denmark, near the Baltic Sea and Sønderborg.

Even though our company is now managed by second generation, the core values that made us successful remain unchanged. These values we respect and cherish every day! Swienty was founded out of a passion for beekeeping in 1981 by Anna Marie and Bernhard Swienty. Very fast they established themselves as an internationally operating business that won a number of prizes and awards at various exhibitions world-wide. Today, the company Swienty is a global enterprise, well-known for its unique technologies and expertise, impeccable service and a wide product assortment.

As a family-owned company, we have over the past years been able to developed our own style to satisfy our customers (better than our competitors). The great success in satisfaction of our customers is primarily achieved due to our highly-qualified and fully-independent employees. Alle our wodden frames are made of first class quality. The frames are produced in lime tree, which is stable, light, knotless and very homogenous. When drying the tree, frequent tests are made to ensure high quality.

104390 Direct Wax Melter with heat Direct wax melter, consists of a double-walled stainless steel vat and a heated grid on top and heated side walls. The heating of both the grid and the walls can be controlled via two separate heating circuits, which can be set between 30 and 85 degrees Celsius.The cappingsmelter is placed under an uncapping machine from where the cappings fall on the heated grid and is warmed up. The temperature of the grid is set to approx. 70 -80 degrees (above the wax melting point), the wax melts and honey floats, due to its higher gravity to the bottom. The melter has two separate outputs one for the liquid wax and one for the honey. The separate levels can be controlled individually. The melter has a very high capacity and can be used with e.g. slide-feed uncapper (107539) or chain feed uncapper (107540). 107331 Manual Honey Loosener The well-engineered and highly accurate honey loosener made by Oswald Hain in Germany. The loosener has two perforated plates mounted in front of the needlebanks. These scrape any residual particles off every time the needlebanks are pulled apart. The frames are placed between the two needlebanks and by pushing a handle the needlebanks are pressed together and the needles penetrate into the honey cells. Every time the banks are pulled back, the frames move a little forward, so that every honey cell is loosened with a few strokes. Every needle is supported by a small spring to prevent the needle from breaking if it hits a cell with pollen or the wooden frame.

Professional Foundation Roller Foundation Rollers A set of rollers consists of two machines: a pre-roller for preparing plain wax sheets of uniform thickness and an embossing roller for converting the plain sheets of wax into foundation embossed with the worker brood cell pattern. Both rollers are manually powered and mounted on a solid aluminum frame with clamps for table mounting. The pre-roller is made of steel and rotates in maintenancefree bearings, which ensures durability and accurate thickness of the wax band. The plainroller is 320 mm long and 52 mm in diameter. The embossing roller is 320 mm long and 62 mm in diameter. Motorized version available! Various cellsizes available on request.

This machine makes it possible to produce foundation sheets in a single operation by the casting method. Liquid wax is led onto the foundation roller from a header tank of approximately 130 kg capacity via an inlet tank. (If required a larger tank can be supplied.) This machine produces endless wax bands from liquid beeswax. Depending on the size of the machine, the bands are from 360 to 550mm wide and have a thickness from 2,0 to 5,0 mm. The semi-automatic Foundation Sheet Rolling Machine is used for embossing the wax bands produced on the Wax Band Machine. Foundation sheets are then cut to size by means of the attached cutting table.

Extraction

Tangential extractors In a tangential extractor the frame is placed so that the flat side is pointing outwards. This gives maximum centrifugal force on the honey in the cells. These extractors are very popular among smaller-scale beekeepers because they are at the bottom of the price range, and may be used with any type of honey. The drawback is that the comb has to be turned around in order to extract both sides, which is labour intensive and time consuming. The baskets are available in two different configurations: with or without a central axis. While the extractor with middle axis is cheaper, the advantage of not having a central axis is that you can turn the comb inside the extractor. When equipped with a middle axis, however, you have to move the comb outside the extractor in order to turn it.

Radial Extractors Radial extractors are the most universal extractors and the perfect solution for all beekeepers who want to extract low to medium viscous honeys.

Self-turning Extractors Self-turning extractors are versatile and ideal for the more viscous honeys, for example heather (calluna vulgaris), manuka, forest and sage honeys.

The frames are placed vertically around the axis like the spokes of a wheel. The centrifugal force and the natural slope of the cells will ensure that both sides of the comb are emptied simultaneously.

Basically a self-turning extractor is a tangential extractor, but with the refinement that the frames are turned automatically. We offer different sizes of self-turning extractors and are able to satisfy the needs of everyone, from the small-scale beekeeper to the professional beekeeper. All extractors can be delivered with a bottom heating cable (Item 108591). We recommend this upgrade, because it is a great help when extracting over several days or when cleaning your extractor. With all models, we are able to customize the location of the honey gate, beam and tank height.

In other words you don’t need to turn the frames inside the extractor. This makes radial extractors the prefered choice of many beekeepers. Call us for advice if you are in doubt.

Fullautomatic extracting line Full-automatic extracting line for rational extraction of larger amounts of honey. A full honeysuper is put into a so called de-boxer (a machines which takes the frames out of the hive body) afterwards all frames are automatically transported to a full-automatic uncapping-machine. Here, the frames are being uncapped and pushed onto a frame-rack where they wait for extraction. The parallel radial extractor (which has a capacity of up to 120 frames per load) is filled with full frames through a pneumatically assisted frame loading system. The frames are inserted and extracted parallel to each other. At the same time, empty frames are pushed onto an empty frame rack on the opposite side of the extractor. Thus, the extraction process works fully automatic and smoothly.

The whole extraction process works without any lifting! It is therefore not only faster and more economic than other extraction processes, but also less work intensive. All honey and cappings are pumped into a high capacity centrifuge where the honey is cleaned efficiently.

Finally, only minimal straining is required to make the honey ready for bottling.

Modulized Fillingline The fillingline includes: – Turntable ø100 cm – DANA api MATIC 3000 – Lidsorting Machine – Lidfitting Machine – Labelingmachine The fillingline is built up from 3 different modules; filling, lidfitting and labeling. This ensures a full automatic system that makes filling easy.

Operation: Empty jars are placed on the table top of the filling module and then transported automaticallly to a photocell. Once the photocell registers the jar, the table stops and the DANA Api MATIC 3000 filling machine starts filling the jar. The user-friendly interface, makes the fillingmachine easy to program and use. Once the jar is filled the table starts turning again until the next jar arrives in front of the photocell. From the filling station, the filled jars are transportet through the lidfitting module where a lidsorting machine makes sure that the lids turns the right way before placing them loosely on the jars. Thereafter the lidfitting machine holds the jar while thightening the lid.

The lid-fitter and sorter machines are able to handle screw-on and twist-off lids. When reaching the labelingmachine, the filled jars are labeled with self-adhesive labels. After labeling the jars are moved on a table from where the operator can pack them into boxes for further shipment or storage. The system is fully automatic and can handle up to 800 precisely filled jars per hour.The system can be used with different sizes of jars and lids. Jars from 50x40 mm to 130x130 mm and lids between Ø45-Ø90 mm (jars from 30g-1000g).

Financing of large projects For large honey processing projects or if you are about to establish a dealership in a market where we are not represented, we are able to assist you in finding a financing solution. Requirements are a valid project or strong business proposal, minimum period for finaning of 6 months and maximum 10 years. For smaller projects the repayment term is usually 3 to 5 years. We require a downpayment of minimum 10% with your order. Mimimum amout for the credit should be 50.000 EUROâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s. What you have to do? You describe to us how much credit you would like utilize, the credit conditions you would like, size, term and how you want to repay the credit. For our evaluation you need to send us your latest

three annual financial statements. We will then evaluate the project and revert to you if our financing partner can approve the project or not. There are many ways to repay the credit (e.g. bi-annually, monthly, etc.) and we will work with our institution to find the best facility to match your needs.

By air You find Swienty in Denmark It is possible to fly directly from Copenhagen to Sønderborg. Other airports that are close to Sønderborg is Billund (90 minutes drive ) or Hamborg (120 minutes drive).

By car By car you will find us 25 km from Aabenraa and Flensborg. Sønderborg is 3 hours from Copenhagen. 1 hour from Århus/ Odense and 1 hour from Kolding.

Highway. We have just got a new highway, which makes it faster to drive to Sønderborg. Just take exit 11 and follow the road to Ragebøl.
