Split Time Recently If you missed the Split Time episode on Dec. 3, 2010, you can check it out at http://tv.swimmingworldmaga zine.com/shows/split-time Split Time Guest: Richard Shoulberg About this episode: In late October, the sport of swimming lost one of its greatest athletes and greatest people, Fran Crippen. It marks the first time in the modern era that a swimmer died in competition. In the weeks that followed this tragedy, there were many questions, most of which have not been answered in any kind of official manner. So what did happen on Oct. 23 in Dubai? How does one of the fittest swimmers—at the top of his game—drown? To go over some of these questions and talk about what needs to change to ensure that this never happens again, we’ve brought in Fran’s coach, Richard Shoulberg.

Streamlined News brings you the top stories each weekday from the aquatic community in a concise format that allows you to keep in tune with the news as it happens. To watch now, visit: http://tv.swimmingworldmagazine.com/shows/streamlined
