“My friends and I stayed at Allmend apartments for 4 nights in 2017. These twin towers are just 12 mins away by bus from Lucerne’s main station with the bus stop right opposite them, thus making sightseeing and day trips really convenient. The small balcony allowed us to enjoy our meals with a view of the mountains. A big plus point is the “Migros”

supermarket within the complex which helped with ready-to-cook meals, beverages and groceries.

“Travelling during the peak season (end May), when most accommodation in Switzerland is either sold out or expensive, the apartment in Basel was a pleasant surprise. “A stay in the Niederdorf area of Zurich was just perfect for our group of friends. We stayed in a studio apartment that had a view of the river. All the main sights of the Old Town and Zurich’s main station could be reached on foot. We also managed to visit the Rhine Falls, Basel and Lucerne during our 4 night holiday. Just a word of caution-the Niederdorf area is very lively and can therefore get a bit noisy at night especially over the weekend.

unlikely to do this in reality, this was really nice. The combination of the famous train and the mountain made for a truly special day.

Switzerland but for me it was definitely the "high" in my trip. I visited in December when the peak was covered in soft powder snow. The jaw-dropping
