12th Annual Bras For A Cause

The Women’s Council of Realtors held their 12th Annual Bras for A Cause Charity fundraiser on October 19th, 2023, at the Harbor Center in Slidell.  Funds raised benefitted Slidell Memorial Hospital Foundation and St. Tammany Parish Hospital.  Each were presented checks from the Women’s Council of Realtors in the amount of $17,054.

Kicking off the event was Mike Colgin of Rhythm Chasers Band singing “Star Spangled Banner” followed by a fashion show of burly men wearing blinged-out bras while strutting their stuff on the catwalk.

Models included retired NFL players, celebrities, law enforcement and fire fighters, local business leaders and more brave men who worked the runway showing off their bra creation and choreography skills in front of hundreds in the sold-out venue.  Bras For A Cause co-chair

Stephanie Turnage said, “This has been the biggest event thus far despite our real estate industry slowdown.  The generosity of our community is amazing.”
