CNC Machining London CNC = Computer Numerical Control CNC routing is an exciting technology that involves computer-generated code to control machine tools. By using a computer-aided design (CAD) software, a drawing or design is converted into numbers, which then controls the movement of cutter tools. Because of their exact positioning and velocity, CNC machines are more precise than manual machines and lend themselves to more complex shapes, especially as 3D pieces. They can handle the most diverse materials and because of their high level of precision they are fantastic for repetitive tasks. From our East London workshop, we offer a CNC routing or milling service, which is a subtractive process removing matter to rapidly and accurately cut and carve a variety of materials such as acrylic, Foamex, Dibond, solid woods and ply to name but a few. As CNC cutting specialists, we work on a diverse range of projects and can help you through the whole process. We can advise at any stage of your project from your initial drawing or design, to prototyping, right through to the finished product. We will work with you to fulfil your ideas. Our AXYZ Series CNC routing machine is suitable for one-off, small batch production as well as high volume and high productivity. This large format machine offers a cutting area of 1524 x 2440mm and can handle materials with a maximum thickness of 150mm. All our machines are housed under one roof at our Shoreditch workshop in East London. For more detailed technical information about our CNC routing service please see our Technical Info page.
