I was a huge fan of an American television series Mission Impossible when I was child. Every time a match was lit at the beginning of every episode meant that a new mission was starting. The IMF team could always solve problems using the talent and intellect of accomplished professionals no matter how difficult the situation was. As a graphic designer, I always have a similar feeling to the IMF team when facing a challenge. I always remain a person who tries to find the best solution to create the most innovative composition and enjoy every process of creativity. Each of the matches in this portfolio demonstrates my passion and sense of adventure. I will keep learning and do my best to transform any "impossible" situation into my "possible" matchbox.

I love reading and I also enjoy eating desserts. I always wonder why I'm willing to try any kind of dessert but I am very picky when it comes to reading. In this project, I designed ďŹ ve book dust jackets based on Taiwanese desserts I love and imagine that I am standing in front of the dessert counter window enjoying picking desserts. I try to give myself more fun when I chose a new book. No matter if the result does not live up to my expectations. My approach is to "ust try it"!!

Sweet Tomato
Sweet tomato is the best representative dessert of Taiwan. Its shape is similar to the outline of a map of Taiwan and it was a food that could be afforded by poor people in the early years. I designed many different looks of sweet tomato on this cover to represent how Taiwanese people would get through hard times together full of energy.

Bak Tong Gon
Bak tong gon which looks like twisted bread is a popular dessert since the early days of Taiwan. A hole in the bread commemorates Chinese Valentine's Day, a story about which tells of a cowherd and a Weaving Maid who were only allowed to meet once a year, and it's for catching the Weaving Maid's tears due to their separation. The idea of the cover came from this love story. I chose red tears to symbolize the loyal love of the Weaving Maid. As the tears drop from the sky the bak tong gon forms waves which catch the tears to console her in this time of grief and devastation.

Tofu Pudding The most famous tofu pudding in Taiwan is from Tainan city, the oldest city in Taiwan, where I have lived since I was child. Anping tofu pudding and Anping Castle which is a historic monument are the best iconic symbols of Tainan. I choose them to present an enticing smell of tofu pudding and unique old-time lifestyle which makes this city become more attractive.

Tang Hulu
Tang Hulu was one of my favorite desserts when I was a child. I am fascinating by its adorable looks and delicious taste. The cover was created from its looks with a combination of sour pear and thick red syrup. There are a little dots surrounding it, which represent the sticky feeling when you eat it. I try to show how I love its looks and the sour-sugar taste.

Bubble Tea There are many various tea shops in Taiwan. Drinking has become the most popular culture on a daily basis for Taiwanese people. I love to drink bubble tea and like to observe the pearls floating on milk tea. It seems like the pearls quietly dance with a slow motion which makes me feel relaxed.

Joy With Classical Guitar Music Concert The poster was designed for a classical guitar music concert, which was called classical guitar carnival. I imagined that a clown from a circus was playing classical guitar with fantasy in a big celebration. A little bit crazy but elegant. Children or adults both can take part in the fun.

Kármán line The logo was designed for a disc manufacturer which was called Kármán Line. The name of Kármán Line is a boundary between the Earth's atmosphere and outer space. The character combines the two elements of a spaceship and the earth to show that the company always provides the best and fastest service for their customers due to their new technology.
