SENSORY TOURS
• Sensory Tours (sometimes called Touch Tours or Tactile Tours) can be an important part of your event for Blind or low vision audience members. These tours allow audiences to enter the space and handle selected props, set pieces and costumes.
• Sensory Tours can also include voices, sounds, scents and even tastes, along with other sensory experiences that can enhance a blind or low vision audience member’s experience of the show.
• Sensory tours can help create a better understanding of visual elements of your show. They’re usually an hour in duration and take place 30 minutes before the show is due to begin.
