Futura is a font withour seirfs. It is derieved from geometric forms, with strokes of even weight and distinctively tall lowercase letters that rise even above its capitals. Futura looks clean andsimple, making it one of the most widely used fonts in this generation.
The commemorative plaque left on the Moon in July 1969 features text set in Futura.

Inspired by Bauhaus design philosophy, Renner shared many of its views. He believes that modern typeface should express modern models instead be rivial of a previous design. Futura was designed as a contribution on the New Frankfurt project. It is based on geometric shapes. Futura was commercially released in 1936. Futura’s crisp, clean forms reflect the appearance of efficiency and forwardness even today.
