100 Years Limited Edition Serigraph Print

Showcase your dedication to the arts and live orchestral music!

New Hampshire printmaker, William Mitchell, created this serigraph piece honoring Symphony NH’s 100 year anniversary.

Artist Statement:

The Symphony and I had a goal to create a colorful serigraph print that speaks to appreciators of music, art and New Hampshire.

“To a Wild Rose” by Edward MacDowell was the musical inspiration as the piece was performed during Symphony NH’s recent “Ode to New Hampshire” concert. My hope was to combine art and music elements that interpret inspiration from nature. The notes work to tell the music while also acting as color substitutes for the leaves of the birches. From a distance they will come in and out of focus to bring different meanings and reactions.

I am thrilled and honored to have my artwork support Symphony NH as they celebrate their 100th anniversary.
