MITSU LIQUID TAPE This is the ultimate liquid tape. A unique feature, only seen on O’Shea wetsuits.

The Mitsu Liquid Tape is a intelligent three layer compound, designed to provided maximum stretchability, durability and water seal.

The top layer is a neoprene-like material. Its function is to absorb moisture, in order to make the suit softer and stretchier. In addition to this, the moisture retained within the material increases its resistance to ultra-violet light.

The third bottom layer is an adhesive which is applied with heat to vulcanize part of the liquid tape material with the nylon on the suit, creating an extremely strong bond.

Additionally, it’s immune to the dehydrating effects of sodium chloride found in sea water, improving the longevity of the suit.

The second layer acts as a media to combine the top layer and the bottom glue coating, it also seals the water from entering into the bottom layer.

The most flexible neoprene on the market, produced from 100 percent super stretch neoprene. Designed with an unparalleled combination of warmth, flexiblity and comfort. We use limestone based polychloroprene in ALL our products, as we know that every little helps towards cleaner seas to play in!!!
