MASTERFULLY PLANNED.

In September 1988, construction began on Lake Las Vegas Resort’s dam and a two-mile long bypass system. The bypass system is comprised of two pipes that are each 84 inches in diameter and two miles in length and was engineered to convey the flow of the Las Vegas Wash under Lake Las Vegas and into Lake Mead . The 18-story dam, that is approximately 150 feet high, contains nearly 4.1 million cubic yards of earth and took more than two years to build. Lake development was completed in 1994.

Lake Las Vegas is a recreational amenity to Lake Las Vegas Resort, but it also provides approximately 10,000 acre-feet of water storage for the resort’s landscape and golf course irrigation requirements.

The private SouthShore Golf Club opened in 1995, the first private Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in Nevada. The first resort residents moved in the following year. With the opening of Reflection Bay Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, in 1998 and The Falls Golf Club, a Tom Weiskopf Design, in 2002, Lake Las Vegas Resort has been established as a premier golf destination winning numerous prestigious awards.

NORTH SHORE

The North Shore communities are anchored by Reflection Bay Golf Club, the first public resort golf course in Nevada personally designed by Jack Nicklaus. The 7,261-yard, par-72 awardwinning course makes its way through the desert while providing breathtaking views of Lake Las Vegas. Sculpted from the terrain’s natural contours with strategic bunkering and pristine greens, the course features three waterfalls and plays around arroyos and water. Five holes are located along one and a half miles of Lake Las Vegas’ majestic shoreline. Reflection Bay highlights include the picturesque 199yard, par-3 eighth hole and beaches, bunkers and palms that create a dynamic shoreline and backdrop.

THE FALLS

The Falls Parcel as it’s known to locals is called that because as you enter Lake Las Vegas you see the water fall from the top of the great peak and flow into the waterways of Lake Las Vegas. The Falls features some of the most dramatic elevation changes and the only parcel where you can see the Las Vegas Strip. It’s close proximity to the sports club offers great times and lifestyles and its variety of homes from patio homes to large estates gives The Falls a lot to talk about.

When the developers of Lake Las Vegas looked at North Shore, they saw a golden opportunity. They saw desert contemporary homes being built on the water and overlooking both Reflection Bay and South Shore Golf Club.
