First, you must verify that your source and destination devices support HDCP encryption. HDCP compliant devices will only transmit to, or receive from, other devices with HDCP encoding. For questions regarding compatibility issues please see your product manual or call 800.626.6445 Note: Please make sure that resolution settings on player or cable/satellite receiver match those on the flat panel display. In case of discrepancy, the HDMI switch, splitter or extender will attempt to make a connection with the display having the lowest resolution capability. If displays with differing resolutions are connected, then the device will attempt to connect with the display having the lowest resolution. Thus there may not be a signal on the higher resolution devices unless these are re-set to the same resolution. This comment applies to the 1080i and 1080p resolutions as well as the 24 Hz and 60 Hz frame rates. Sometimes manufacturer proprietary control protocols between their player and their display can interfere with the HDMI control protocol.
