En una burbuja

«Divertida y desenfadada», como la describe su diseñador Alfonso Gallego, la colección Bubble apuesta por las formas envolventes y acogedoras. «El reto fue definir sus volúmenes redondeados, encontrar un tejido que las acompañara y elegir una gama color de acorde», añade. Todo parte de una estructura interior en aluminio lacado que es abrazada, en su exterior, por un trenzado en fibra Shintotex –una fibra reciclable de alta resistencia desarrollada por POINT–. Completan las butacas unos cojines, en espuma de poliuretano de alta resistencia, que se pueden tapizar en telas de diferentes colores o estampados. También, como complemento, existe una mesa auxiliar. En este “nido” confluyen la estética de los setenta con un espíritu libre del mediterraneo.

In a bubble

“Fun and carefree”, as its designer Alfonso Gallego describes it, the Bubble collection is characterised by snug, enveloping shapes. “The challenge was to define its rounded volumes, find a fabric to go with them and choose a suitable colour range”, he adds. It is all based on an inner structure of lacquered aluminium that is covered by woven Shintotex, a highly resistant recyclable fibre developed by POINT. The armchairs also have hardwearing polyurethane foam cushions that can be upholstered in fabrics of different colours or prints. A side table is also available. This “nest” combines the aesthetics of the seventies with the free spirit of the Mediterranean.
