Sarah Cummings (she/ her) (Doll Cutpurse) is a junior acting major from Pittsburgh, PA. She is excited to be performing in her first Department of Drama mainstage show! Alexis Wilner (she/her) ( Scenic Designer) is a senior drama major with concentrations in theater management and scenic design and a minor in disability studies. As a disabled artist, Alexis hopes to combine her theatrical endeavors and advocacy work to create a more accessible industry. For

the Department of Drama, her credits include Head Over Heels (assistant scenic designer), Guys and Dolls (assistant scenic designer), Melancholy Play: A Chamber Musical (dramaturg), and Lungs (scenic designer). Her credits also include the Syracuse Stage/Department of Drama co-production of A Christmas Carol (assistant scenic designer) and the Syracuse Stage production of How to Dance in Ohio (community engagement intern). She has also served as the artistic director of Access Arts SU and worked as an intern at EPIC Players NYC, leading up to her honors thesis project on the inclusion of disabled theater production artists. Sofia Pizer (she/her) (Costume Designer) is a senior theater design and technology major from Los Angeles, CA. Mairead Cummins (they/them) (Lighting Designer) is a senior double majoring in mathematics and theater
design and technology. Their other Syracuse lighting design credits include Dance Nation (Department of Drama mainstage) and The Skriker (Department of Drama studio project).
Kevin O’Connor (Sound Designer) is currently in his 15th season working for Syracuse Stage and the Syracuse University Department of Drama. He graduated from St. Lawrence University with a B.A. in music in 2008. Almost all of Kevin’s sound design credits have been with the Department of Drama over the past 12 years, and some of his favorite designs have been Dance Nation (2023), Bright Half Life (2021), Romeo & Juliet (2020), Good Kids (2019), The Baltimore Waltz (2018) , Laura and the Sea (2016), Measure for Measure (2015), and Stepping Out (2014). Kevin also created the sound designs for Red Riding Hood, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (2022), Danny, King of the Basement (2021), and Miss Electricity (2018) for the Syracuse Stage/Department of Drama Bank of America Children’s Tour. Besides sound design, Kevin has also worked as the A1 position, controlling the audio console/live mixing, for most of the musicals for both Syracuse Stage and the Department of Drama over the past 15 years. Some of his favorite productions have been Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Elf the Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, Next to Normal, Ring of Fire, Berlin to Broadway, Nine, Avenue Q, Hairspray, Parade, Seussi-

cal, Merrily We Roll Along, and Cabaret. He also feels privileged to have worked as the A1 on the productions of Thoughts of a Colored Man (2019) and How to Dance in Ohio (2022), during their Syracuse Stage runs before moving to Broadway.
Eleni Stavros (she/her) ( Music Composition) is a junior actor-singer from San Diego, CA. This is her fourth production with the Syracuse University Department of Drama, and she is incredibly thrilled to share her compositions. Previous credits include Little Red Riding Hood (composer, Syracuse Stage), Head Over Heels (assistant music director, Department of Drama), Melancholy Play (Joan, Department of Drama), and Lighthouse (Cheese Curd, Department of Drama).
Alec Barbour (Fight and Intimacy Choreographer) is a Rochester, NY based actor, fight choreographer, and playwright. He has been studying stage combat since 2005 and is a certified teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors. He received his M.F.A. in acting at the Hilberry Repertory Theatre at Wayne State University in Detroit, where his roles included Iago in Othello, Carson in Gross Indecency, and Charles Lomax in Major Barbara. Regional acting credits include Sir Castor (and fight captain) in Camelot at Drury Lane Theatre and Horner in The Country Wife at Franklin Stage. In-

Blake Segal ( Dialect Coach ) is an actor, teacher, and dialect coach. Coaching credits include NYC: Ensemble Studio Theatre, New Georges, The Araca Project, Fault Line Theatre; Regional: Syracuse Stage, Geva Theatre Center, Berkshire Theatre Group, Two River Theater, PlayMakers Rep, Cleveland Musical Theatre, Luna Stage, Passages Theatre, and Walkerspace at SoHo Rep; Educational: Yale, Fordham, Columbia, Syracuse, Kean, and Stella Adler. Blake currently serves on the Voice/ Verse faculty of Syracuse University’s Department of Drama. As an actor,

Celia Madeoy is an Associate Professor of Voice and Acting with the Department of Drama at Syracuse University and Syracuse Stage. She has performed professionally with many League of Resident Theatres and Shakespeare festivals across the United States including The Shakespeare Theatre Company, Folger Theatre, The Acting Company, Guthrie Theater, Shakespeare & Company, Theatre J, The REV Theatre Company/Broadway in the Finger Lakes, Marin Theatre Company, Arizona Repertory Theatre, and The Blackfriars Playhouse at the American Shakespeare Center. Her international Shakespeare training and extensive professional performance
includes collaborations alongside Andrew Wade, Patsy Rodenburg, Giles Block, and distinguished directors and voice teachers of the Royal Shakespeare Company, British American Drama Academy, Rose Bruford College Conservatoire, National Institute of Dramatic Art in Australia, Canada’s Moving Voice Institute in Toronto and Shakespeare’s London Globe Theatre. She has developed, written, directed, and performed original work in several productions at the famed Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and been featured in leading roles at Syracuse Stage including Deb in Elf the Musical for which she won a Syracuse Area Live Theatre (SALT) Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Meg Miroshnik Meg Miroshnik’s plays include The Fairytale Lives of Russian Girls, The Droll {Or, a StagePlay about the End of Theatre}, The Tall Girls, Old Actress, and an adaptation of the libretto for Shostakovich’s Moscow, Cheryomushki. She is the recipient of a 2012 Whiting Award. Her work has been developed or produced by the La Jolla Playhouse, O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, Center Theatre Group, South Coast Rep, the McCarter Theatre Center, Alliance Theatre, Yale Rep, the Kennedy Center, Lark New Play Development Center, Chicago Op-
era Theater, the Moscow Playwright and Director Center, Washington Ensemble Theatre, Circle X, The Wilma Theater, Perishable Theatre, WordBRIDGE Playwrights Laboratory, One Coast Collaboration, and published in Best American Short Plays, 20082009 (Applause, 2010). The Fairytale Lives of Russian Girls was a finalist for the 2012 Susan Smith Blackburn prize and winner of the 2011-2012 Alliance/Kendeda Graduate Playwriting Award. Ralph Zito (he, him) is in his fourteenth year as chair of the Department of Drama. He came to Syracuse University from the Juilliard School Drama Division, where he had been a teacher and director from 1992 to 2010 and chair of the Voice and Speech Department since 1999. He was a director and adjunct lecturer in the Barnard College Theater Department from 2006 until 2010 and has been a guest artist at training programs across the country, including the Old Globe in San Diego, The University of Texas at Austin, and the Academy for Classical Acting in Washington, DC. Directing credits for the Department of Drama include: The Spitfire Grill, As You Like It, Gruesome Playground Injuries, and The Aliens. He has served as a voice, text or dialect consultant for numerous professional productions both on and off-Broadway, including: The Light in the Piazza; Awake and Sing!; The Herbal Bed; Mrs. Klein; The Fiery Furnace; The Time of the Cuckoo (Lincoln Center Theatre); Tongue of a Bird; The Merchant of Venice (New York
Shakespeare Festival); The Pitchfork Disney (Blue Light Theatre Company); Birdy (The Women’s Project); The Model Apartment (Primary Stages); the New York premiere of Tony Kushner’s SLAVS! (New York Theatre Workshop); and The African Company Presents Richard III (The Acting Company). His regional theater credits include numerous productions at The Shakespeare Theatre and Arena Stage in Washington, DC; Syracuse Stage; Baltimore CENTERSTAGE; Hartford Stage; and the McCarter Theatre, among others. A former touring member of The Acting Company, he served as artistic associate of The Chautauqua Theatre Company for seven years and was a member of the Board of Directors of The American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT) for six years. He is a graduate of Harvard University, The Juilliard School, and the American Center for the Alexander Technique. He was recently awarded the prestigious Juilliard President’s Medal in recognition of his contributions to both Juilliard and to the broader performing arts community.
