SKYLINE STUDY
Redevelopment for Kampung Bharu, Kuala Lumpur Veritas Architects Kuala Lumpur
Skyline Study Kuala Lumpur’s skyline might not be as dense as, say, Tokyo’s, but it does have more greenery than most other major Asian megacities. Few buildings in the world dominate a city’s skyline like Kuala Lumpur’s Petronas Towers. With the upcoming development around the city centre, addition of new tall buildings will introduce a new element to the skyline, so this studies aims to study the different elements that will suit the future KL skyline. The study is conducted by presenting different tower tectonic and projecting light against the tower to get a sillhouette. Different point of light creates different perspective of the skyline. This study is an alternative and a real time approach to study the new tower appearence in the urban fabric.
