Bulls must be tie broke and must be supplied with a suitable halter. Purchases must be settled within 1 hour of the sale of the animal. The seller is not liable for more than the purchase price of the bull. Immediately after purchase is declared, the risk of the bull shall be exclusively with the purchaser, and until settlement is made in the terms of these conditions, delivery of the animal shall be suspended. Prior to the animal being removed from the building, the buyer must present the sale superintendent with the official receipt, signed by the Sale Management, showing that the animal(s) has/have been paid for. Each consignor shall be in full charge of, and responsible for, his entry until the close of the sale when the animal remains on the premises at the risk to the purchaser, and the Association shall not be liable for any loss to any animal or for injury/damage thereto. The Sale Management will have the power to give receipt in full for all payments on stock and will remit the amount realized, less the proper charges for each animal, to the seller thereof within three weeks after the date of the sale, provided that pedigree papers and transfer forms signed in blank, were supplied to the Sale Management prior to the sale; otherwise payment will be suspended. Pedigree papers, with the transfer to the purchaser duly signed, will be sent to the purchaser after the sale, and for this service, the Sale Management will deduct the necessary transfer fees for each animal from the amount due the vendor as proceeds of sale. In the case of typographical or other errors discovered, the Auctioneer will announce corrections, and such announcements will take precedence over the printed matter in this catalogue. Buyers are cautioned to pay attention to the Auctioneer's announcements.

No entry will be refunded for culled or rejected animals. There shall be no by-bidding by the owner of the bull or anyone authorized by him. If any dispute arises between two or more bidders, it shall be settled by the Auctioneer. Auctioneer's decision shall be final in all cases. 2

BENDER SHORTHORNS
BENDERS SHORTHORNS
Cattlemen continue to crossbreed to try to get that top grading carcass. We have changed our breeding program to have a carcass that can match or pass other breeds. We have slaughtered & rail graded our shorthorns over the past 10 years; always grading top carcasses – AAA – AA. Most breeds are going to solid color, so we have decided to breed Shorthorns red in color in order for commercial people to cross breed and still keep their color, as we know it is very important to them. Carcass Data Yearling bulls will be ultra sounded for carcass data prior to sale. Data will be available online and at the sale. Pictures Watch our websites for pictures of more bulls closer to sale time. Trucking Incentive Take home your bull sale day we will rebate you $50.00. Offering free trucking up to 250 miles to central points. We are 20 miles north of Trans Canada Highway to meet truck companies.
Bender Shorthorns & Star P Farms are hosting the Red Shorthorn Sale, March 22, 2011 at Yorkton, Sask. 40 bulls on offer – 90% are red - a few nice roans. Selling two year olds and yearlings. Selling 5 replacement purebred heifers.
Feeding We will feed bulls free until April 30, after that we will charge $1.50 per day. We believe yearling bulls can breed 25 cows. We suggest to bring the bulls back in and put on better feed. You may be much happier with your bull.
