Welcome everyone to our 22nd annual bull & female sale. I think here at Young Dale the uniformity and consistency throughout the female and bull pen are second to none.
In this year’s offering there will be cattle offered out of bulls purchased through this same sale, they in my opinion speak for themselves and compete with a lot of AI sires. With Dad having some medical issues over the last few years, and I personally being unable to use AI, put me into sampling some of our own bulls that our customers purchased though this sale. I think our offering speaks highly for my dad’s 50 years plus of breeding Angus cattle.

POST SALE MAINTENANCE:
Animals can be maintained at Young Dale on a growing ration post sale. For animals not picked up or delivered by May 10th, 2025, a maintencancy charge of $5 per day will be charged.
Herd bull by Honour 16H, a calving ease specialist here and at Six Mile Red Angus. Honour 16H is the sire of Six Mile’s Champion 2-year-old female at Agribition. 3M has a great disposition. The 83 lb. birth weight will make him eligible for the heifer pasture or cows.
Herd bull by Six Mile Fort Knox 27F and Young Dale Pollyanna 50F, who is the dam of Hocus Pocus 208H. Macho has excelled in performance, second to none. When you see him move with great flexibility, you have to believe in evolution. When you analyze his structure, he is unique, and is the kind of sire ready to take on the industry-leading beef breeds. In the pen, Macho is the man among the boys. 4M is going to play a big part in the future here at Young Dale.

Its only fitting to start off our heifer division with Annie K 7M. Her dam is the lead cow whenever we move a group to new grass. 7M has a fabulous disposition, always first to greet you as you come into the pen. Her sire by Ellingson Three Rivers and out of our great old cow 119Z was a feature in our 2023 sale, who sold to N7 Stockfarm. Annie K 7M will be a top breeder for whoever gets to own her.

This heifer is a brood cow in the making. These good Blackbirds originate from Tom and Carolyn’s Harvest Angus sale in BC. Blackbird 24M is sired by Kostner, one of our feature Hill Valley Reckoning sons purchased by Freeway Angus in Alberta, making her double bred S A V. Her dam YDF 2F is very fertile, always calving early, year after year.
Definitely a sale feature here, folks! No matter what angle you analyze her from, she is beautiful. Princess 25M is sired by Last Call 200J and her dam YDF 31D is the $26,000.00 cow picked by Lee and Dawn and Gary. LLB Princess 3583H was the high selling heifer for LLB in 2021. Young Dale Blackcap 31M is a sweet Young Dale Honour 16H female out of a very nicely made Hill Valley Reckoning 931 first calf heifer. Her grandmother JPDH Black 25Y is still here and ready to calve again. In my opinion, this Blackcap female could have a halter put on her. She is attractive, smooth made, easy to look at, and very docile. It is very hard for me to part with this young female, but I do know sometimes we have to offer cattle we don’t really want to sell.

TERMS...
The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.
BIDDING...
Each animal will sell to the highest bidder... no by-bidding will be permitted. Disputes - Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision on all disputes will be final.
ANNOUNCEMENTS...
All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures.
BREEDER’S GUARANTEE...
All bulls sold are guaranteed breeders by the owners. We guarantee to provide you with a sound breeding bull. Should any bull fail to be an unsatisfactory breeder, he will be replaced with a bull of equal value, or a credit will be given toward the purchase of another bull. If you have a problem with your bull please notify us immediately. Under no circumstances will the seller be liable for more than the purchase price of the animal.
EXCEPTION GUARANTEE...
In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION...
Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Angus Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.
PEDIGREE ESTIMATES...
Pedigree Estimates (PE) are created on the projected mating of the animal’s sire and dam based on averages of the two, creating estimated values that do not hold the same accuracy of actual EPDs issued from the association and should be used as such.
LIABILITIES...
All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may in exceptional cases be taken must be between the buyer and the seller. T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any credit extended by the seller to the buyer. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS...
The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.
