Lian Mor

We are pleased with the Big Country calves. They come easily and grow well. This calf is well made and has really good EPDs. The dam goes back to the XLP Reese cow family that has been a staple here for a long time. This calf will make a very good cow. She could also be a candidate for a junior project. You will like her when you see her on sale day.

I hate writing footnotes but this calf makes it much easier. 105L is a female with length of body that we strive for at our farm, with a neck that comes so smoothly off her shoulders to naturally hold her head high. A little extra pigment helps to make her stand out. We only had a few Media calves this year but they are all stand outs. The Omega family goes back to a Duralta cow Trevor and I purchased from May Meadows many years ago. This has been a great family of hard working cows.

Kelsey has been a stand out in the heifer pen. A daughter of a two year old out of the Lady Luck family. Length of body and femininity through the front are some of her features. If you like numbers look at her total maternal number – 74.5! Kelsey is a 4-H project for our granddaughter so will need to stay at Lian Mor until the end of the 4-H season but will work with the new owner.

Sells bred to Moorehaven Lian Rock ET 13H on May 25, 2023. Exposed to 13H from May 21, 2023 to August 1, 2023.
