He’s pretty cool! Shaggy haired, big boned, 3 dimensional muscle shape, extremely attractive skull and big fuzzy ears will make you give him a double take in the pen. This bull caught Chris Poley’s eye on tour. He has a 1/16 shot of Simmental in him and his ideal uddered Bank Note dam is a descendant to the historic Blackbird 172T.

Earnhardt, owned with Peak Dot Ranch, is the most phenotypically correct, heaviest muscled, freest moving, cleanest sheathed Harvester son we have seen to date. He has been a real asset to our herd bull battery and we truly believe his sons will pass on these valued traits to their progeny like he has to them.

Bond was the lead off bull at the Merit Cattle Co. sale the year that we purchased him. We selected him to compliment our S A V genetics and wow did it work! His sire, Range Boss, has become one of the most proven and popular Angus bulls in the business. We used him on heifers and cows.

The $56,000 feature in Peak Dot’s spring 2020 bull sale, Lancaster is a rugged built stock bull with true muscle definition, extra rib shape and real performance. His progeny display a nice pattern with body depth, fleshing ability and real muscle shape. His dam is a very well made SAV Eliminator 9105 daughter that ranks near the top for milk and marbling and has raised many herd sires and we feel that his daughter’s will be his real asset.

Black Gold is a calving ease specialist out of a foundation cow family at J Square S. His granddam is still in production at 16 years of age and has raised herd sires like Fireman who sold to Hamilton Farms of Cochrane, AB.

Terms

The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.

Payment Options

Payment in full sale day will be the norm. If special arrangements are needed please discuss with Miles Glasman (M&J Farms) and/or Matthew Glasman (Glasman Farms) prior to the sale.

Insurance

All bulls staying at M&J Farms/Glasman Farms must be insured. Contact Keystone Livestock Insurance at 204728-3058. We strongly recommend that insurance is purchased for full value.

Delivery

Bulls will be kept until April 1, 2023. After this date a $3/day yardage fee will be payable. All bulls will be delivered by April 30th free of charge unless special arrangements have been made at M&J Farms/Glasman Farms convenience. Every effort will be made to get your bull to your farm, however some long distances may dictate delivery to a central point.

Breeder’s Guarantee

All bulls will be semen tested prior to the sale. The bulls sold are sold with a breeder’s guarantee. If problems arise please notify M&J Farms/Glasman Farms immediately so the replacement or credit towards another bull can be dealt with in a timely fashion, At no time will M&J Farms/Glasman Farms be responsible for more than the purchase price.

Pedigree Estimates (PE)

Pedigree Estimates (PE) are created on the projected mating of the animal’s sire and dam based on averages of the two, creating estimated values that do not hold the same accuracy of actual EPDs issued from the association and should be used as such.

Announcements

All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures.

Exception Guarantee

In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void.

Liabilities

All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may in exceptional cases be taken must be between the buyer and the seller. T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any credit extended by the seller to the buyer. The buyer must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations made hereunder.

Rights and Obligations

The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.
