WELCOME TO OUR 4TH ONLINE SALE

Well, here we are, another year gone by. Cattle prices are holding very strong and that looks to continue for the next few years at least. We seem to see new record prices for finished beef, as well as for feeder cattle every few months. As the world population continues to grow, the demand for protein will also continue to grow. There is no better time to expand your cow herd or to add some new genetics to your program. Once again, we have Twelve Oaks Land and Cattle working with us to bring you this offering. Forrest and Jody are great to work with. The heifer calves are from the top of our programs. The bred females are the best we have to offer and nothing was held back. These females will make productive replacements for many years. Take a look at these McCoy Powerplay females. He makes a very uniform group and we have used him heavier this past year. Also, our Grace family tends to keep cracking out sale features pretty much every year.

Give us a call any time if you would like to chat about the offering and Thank you for taking the time to browse through the cattle.

Please join us on Sunday, October 6 for an afternoon of hospitality and to view the offering.

Offering up something we feel is very unique - this year we were among the first to have Duff HD calves in Canada, and are blow away by them. Tonnes of look to these calves; they’re easy to pick out as a group. They have the front end for the show rings and the thickness for the sale barns. Mother from the great Lorcaine program and has been a herd bull raiser for us. This is her first heifer calf and she’s a stand out.

Very special heifer for us that is part of our show string this year, the last of our crop of Trump calves that have made beautiful females we have a full sister to this girl in production now and is a wonderful cow for us. Ter-Ron Rachel was one of our first red angus purchased and has never missed.

Twelve Oaks land & Cattle

We have had a very exciting year here at Twelve Oaks, and we are extremely happy to be partnering with Victor and Wyatt again this year to offer some very good females as guest consignors in their sale. We really enjoy working with Oulton Farms and are happy to be back this year.

It’s been a fun year opening our gates to many visitors from across Canada this summer to have a look at our herd and program. We’ve had a great time showing them our program and had an even better time making friends and memories together. Jody, Amanda and Emma are also off to a very solid show season, competing very strong and always in the Championship ring. We feel like we are putting together an offering that can compete very well in the show ring, then come home to the farm and hit the pastures as extremely productive and efficient females.

We have been continuing to invest in cutting edge genetics that will make very productive cattle. Take a look at the pedigrees here and study these females. There are some strong pedigrees here that you don’t want to miss.

Feel free to reach out to us with any questions about this offering. If you require any further information please contact us.

THREE FOR ONE || GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY

Great opportunity here with a three for one deal here! This Reece cow was purchased from GF Polled Herefords as a calf and has done exactly what we were hoping for. She had developed into very good cow with a nice tidy udder, good milking ability and excellent temperament. She is raising a fancy little early February heifer calf who looks like she will follow in her dam’s footsteps Twelve Oaks 2198 Reece 29M is off our JR Herd Sire, Churchill Prince 2198K ET, and has all the makings to be a great addition to any herd. GF 115K is also bred back to our Herd Bull Twelve Oaks 36G United ET 2K for a February calf. Preg Checked Safe.

Probably the faster growing and heaviest heifer calf we have had this year. Out of a good producing cow we purchased from the Square D dispersal sale and off the well know Haroldson’s United 33D 36G bull, this heifer has all the traits to produce some beautiful calves for years to come. Her and her flush mates have developed very well this summer and have the nice dark colour we love to see in the pastures. She types in close to her dam who at 11 years old is still giving us great calves each year!!

This mid-February heifer calf is quite eye catching with her goggle eyes and dark colour. She is hard to look past in the pasture! She is deep sided and carries it all the way back through to her hind quarters. Her dam is a Vortex two-year-old who did an excellent job raising this beautiful heifer. Sired by our Churchill Prince 2198K ET bull, this heifer has a bright future in the show ring or the front pasture.

HACKET

This heifer off our Harvie Hacket 19H bull and out of the Evelyn 204E cow, who has been in our donor pen the last few years. She is stamped just like her dam; she carries lots of thickness and depth throughout and still has lots of femininity to go with it in a pretty neat package. We feel this heifer could hold her own next year in the show ring as a yearling. Looking at her numbers all signs point towards calves with strong growth and strong maternal traits which is what will add to her longevity for years to come!!
