Updates • The International Board met for the Fall
Board meeting in the first week of October. Check out the official meeting minutes on keyclub.org to see what was discussed.
• In November, the Key Club International
Youth Opportunities Fund Committee met to discuss YOF applications. We had a wonderful time reading about all of the service projects and fundraisers. We encourage you to apply next year!
• In November, I visited the Wisconsin-Upper
Michigan District for their Fall Board meeting. I cannot wait to visit the mighty Texas-Oklahoma District!
• Get ready for International Convention!
ICON will be in Indianapolis with Circle K and Kiwanis. Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Kiwanis with the K-Family!

I hope all of you had a great thanksgiving break and are excited for this holiday season! This time of the year is a great time to give thanks and do more for your community. I know many of you have already set up awesome projects! Remember to look at resources and the district website in order to stay updated on the district. Remember also to report if you haven’t already and if you ever have any reports still missing, you can still send them. Task of the Month for November: What did your club do for Key Club Week? If you missed Key Club Week, then build a turkey out of donated materials, such as, cans from a canned food drive and take a picture. Remember to send this in with report!

Other Information Secretary Update: For this month, I did not do a video blog with updates and answering FAQs, but I will make a November/ December one towards the beginning of December. So be on the lookout for that! Check out the October Update if you haven’t already! COCI and MUC: Remember to update your club officer contact info on the District website if you haven’t!! Also, remember to pay your dues and update your members for this year!
Completion Forms: Remember to go ahead and start working on the completion forms for the District Project (Eliminate), Governors Project (Children’s Miracle Network), and Divisional Projects. Found on the District website!
Feedbacks: Remember to check your emails to look for the feedbacks from your reports. They were sent out around the 15th Top 5 Projects: Remember to look at the Top 5 Projects on the website for some awesome ideas for future projects for your clubs
DCON 2015: I am so excited for DCON 2015: Service Adventure. It is going to be an awesome event with many great ways to learn, serve, connect, and share with others. Happy Holidays TO Key Clubbers! I hope you all had a splendid Thanksgiving break filled with food, fun, family, and friends! Bundle up for the season of cold! This is also an excellent time for service. There are definitely countless opportunities to give back to the community during this time of the year. Stay warm and safe, my friends! Now that school is back in session, midterms are fast approaching. I know this time of the year can be especially stressful and time consuming. Just keep in mind that you have an entire group of aspiring individuals working and supporting you along the way! And remember to end this 2014 with a BANG and welcome 2015 with arms wide open. LOH’S LIAISON LORE How’s it going T-O? I hope y’all have had an awesome Thanksgiving Break and are ready for the holiday season! Cold weather, hot chocolate, Christmas lights, possible inclement weather/school being cancelled, MORE family gatherings, some of the best things about winter! Although you may have a roof to sleep under and a family to spend time with, others may not, so organize an event to help out those who are less fortunate! Possible things you can do include hosting a canned food drive, volunteering at a homeless shelter, helping out at a local soup kitchen, or spending time at a local mission center! There are a lot of opportunities to help out with, all you need to do is search your communities! DCON is just a little over 120 days away! That’s one-third of a year! I hope you all enjoyed the DCON Theme Release video for Service Adventure! DCON 2015 is definitely going to be one that you will not forget. I hope you all are considering teaching a forum at DCON, and if you have not looked at the application yet, it can be found on the District Website. Be on the lookout for the DCON Resource Package, which is coming out in a couple of months!
