Good bye to the baize yes sadly green baize has shut its doors. Few weeks ago the venue confirmed it was no longer going sad news but however i hear that someone has taken over the venue will be back up and running under new name so hopefully wont be long before the venue is back and putting on some amazing shows as it used to .
Kiss makes a home Yes a n injured war hero got shock of his life at a kiss gig when they stopped one of there songs to tell the war hero that the band have paid for a 4 bedroom house for the service man . The house was a gift for his service for his country i have to say what amazing story this is. Band as massive as kiss doing summit like this deserves allot of respect all hats of to them.
The jam is back Owe yes pearl jam have announced that they will be bringing out a new album and will be out this year . The near album lighting bolt will be out in October. That's is im still alive. They have also realised a new track named mind your manners. Very punk rock ish. Back in B... with New DVD Black label society which features the epic guitarist zakk wylde is to release a new live DVD in September. filmed in LA the new DVD is set to come out on 23rd.
Tap Tap they will come back 2014 may see the return of rock band spinal tap they have been asked weather or not weather a reunion is on the cards and they have stated that next year could see the return of spinal tap or nothing is set in stone.
Metallica New album for 2014 Metallica have stated at comic con that 2014 they will be starting work on a new album when we will see this album on sale i do not know but 2014 Metallica will be back with new stuff .
Bridge are back !! This September will see the return of alter bridge with there 4th studio album fortress. It has bin almost 3 years sints last studio album AB III and will be good to hear Myles Kennedys band return after his work with slash. The album will come out on the 30th. Reading Festival SOLD OUT Yes anyone who hasn't got a ticket for reading yet guess what you wont be able to the weekend is a complete sale out. Featuring system of the down , green day , skindred , nine inch nails plus more..... however leeds i think have still got tickets worth checking the website. If not it will be shown on BBC. This weeks band to watch is a Weston super mare band called this ship is ours. A young metal core band that only started last year and already proving to be a band to watch. The band consist of

"After drawing their old band Sucker punch to a close, Morgan, Jake and Jacob were looking for a new sound to keep the music flowing. They wanted to carry on but as a much heavier band and with the addition of Joe Sotiris This Ship Is Ours was born! After four months of hard work and adding Ryan Pountney on bass we played our first gig supporting Borderline: fire at barcode on the 10th November 2012, and delivered a set that surprised the unsuspecting crowd. we then went on to support Everyday Sidekicks at the croft twice, during which Joe sotiris left the band, leading the way for Ryan Pountney to step up to lead guitar and adding Josh and Kyle to the band. Our Highlight of our career is when we Headlined a metal core showcase at the Fleece, where we played the set of our lives and took our game to a completely new level, showing bands that had a lot more experience what we can do and what we’re capable of! ok so as you know on 7th august its my 21st birthday hence 21 all over the place so im going to use this issue to let you into my world and tell you more about me the person who gives you rock and metal every two weeks. I was born in Bristol 7th august in year 1992 in southmead hospital my dad well less said about him the better he walked out on me when i was little for most of my life its bin my mum bless her who stood by my all these years in which i owe allot to. Growing up wasn't easy for me i had a medical condition that used to open up to bullies and cowards who seen me as an easy target so yh i was bulled over it which wasn't nice but i look back on it now think look at me know. so over years i sufferd from the hands of bullies people who made me feel more ill that the sickness but i got better and moved to Weston super mare in my later life. I got better and got my head down at school. It was when i moved to Weston i joined the scouts best time of my life some great memories. I also carried on my tae kwon do a martial art finished on a red belt. I then when to college and got distinction grade in health social care i wanted to go work with children and use my life experiences to help them as i have done to other's. I guess you could say im the kind of person who would stop help someone and listen to there problems. which i thank you the readers that also listen to what i have to say.
however in the end i didnt follow that path instead went into full time work. Ended up being a bin man. It was around that time that metal mash was born. I went to a gig at green baize which sadly shut down few weeks ago and i had this idea like a vision of creating a magazine that would give infomation local bands and talent and it was there in 2013 metal mash was born. Ive always bin a massive rock fan and used to watch download on kerrang when i was younger. And finally in 2011 I got to go to download festival for the 1st time and have bin to 3 i total. one of my favoured bands is iron maiden in which i got to see them this year for ths 1st time. Along side Music i am also a football fan. bin supporting bristol rovers from when i was 7 years old seen the club go up and sadly go down. But thats football for you. so like i said i am nearly 21 years old and i thought it wouldnt be right without sharing some of my world with you the metal mash nation would like to thank you for you continued support and hope you enjoy are issues thank you. wait wait wait hang on there one more thing left to say its also Bruce Dickinson birthday so sing with me Happy birthday to you happy birthday to you happy birthday Bruce the lead singer of iron maiden happy birthday to you (cue guitar solo).
