This weeks song of the issue is not a Metallica song i thought its about time we digged this gem of a rock tune back out the vinyl set for your pleasure. This song is called metal health (bang your head by quiet riot came out in the 1980s. This song was part of the metal health album which also featured come feel the noise dont forget to check out the tune on the website. And band your head metal health will drive you mad owe yes.
Kill um all came out in 1983 and was there 1st ever studio album. this album had bin given a triple planum status and featured seek and destroy. which is wcw wrestler stings entrance tune.
Master of puppets started pulling the strings 1986. its a 6x platinum album. most common track on it is master of puppets which is 8 minuets long. And if you ask me that's some long strings they got there we *** love it .
Ride the lighting was the follow up from kill um all and also gained a 6x platinum status. the album came out in 1987. This album feature for whom the bell tolls. (Time marches ON!!) And of course fades to black
And of course the black album. Metal mash best Metallica album came out in 1991 this album featured songs like enter sandman, nothing else matters and the unforgiving. one of the best albums of all time.
lets begin are journey look back at why we love Metallica so much why they are such an iconic band. Metallica are from LA and formed in 1981. the band started as the lead singer James Hatfield saw an add in the local paper for the drummer Lars Ulrich . from there the band expanded there rain on the world stage and produced 9 albums and 4 live albums.
Johnny z from mega force records gave this new group opportunity to record there first album kill em all which was originally goanna be called metal up your ***. but due to conflicts they where not allowed to release the album under that name hence the birth of kill em all. after the band succes they went to do there 1st tour named after there 1st album
from there 1st album they went on to make some amazing albums such as ride the lighting , master of puppets and of course the black album. last year they rock the stage at donington and headlined download festival and performed the black album and just about every single epic tune they ever did. question is will we see another Metallica album soon.
saddly to say that there is no news on any new albums on there way from Metallica but there is possibly a 3d movie coming out about Metallica called through the never . when the movie is set to be released i don't know but there is shots of it being filmed so be sure to check that out on YouTube
Are band to watch this week is a Metallica tribute band called Metallica reloaded from Bristol . These are really the real deal every song every note is practised and tuned down to the fine detail to produce that classic Metallica show. There are described to be if not just as good as seeing the real deal live.
all the other members also went and did there own projects. In 2010 the band got back together and became a tribute act under the name fixer. they did lots of covers from iron maiden , Alice in chains , guns roses and of course Metallica. The band grew a very metallic sound and from there became a Metallica tribute act working on the early Metallica tunes. Originally the band they then was asked started of doing to do a show with there own music guns 2 roses the guns sealing ep and doing roses tribute act. The there own thing then tribute act like fixer the band slit and so much they gave David the guitarist them here 1st tour started the band from there the band became a huge blood off ash. success.
In the interview they stated that they wanted to say thank you to guns 2 roses for giving them the opportunity that ended up kick starting there band. from there Metallica reloaded was born.
