2017 ANNUAL FUND The Ideals of the Past – The Purpose of the Future

2365 Pine Avenue Vero Beach, Florida 32960 | 772.567.1146 | TrinityVero.org

Dear Members and Friends, Trinity Episcopal is a parish on the move! Through longstanding and new members, we are among the fastest growing parishes in the Diocese. Our growth brings tremendous blessings, and we are called to share those blessings in new and exciting ways that share the love of Christ.

You, members of Trinity Episcopal Church, are our greatest blessing.

This year, through conversations and continued prayer with many of you, we have come to realize that our purpose for the future is to grow our ministry opportunities within our own parish and in the community at large. We can do so by building upon the ideals of our cherished past and fulfilling the passions and vision of our members today through their unique, God-given talents. It’s a very personal decision to generously give back a portion of your earnings to your church and spiritual community. Your generosity and financial support is the sole source of Trinity Episcopal’s income, and it will continue to further our mission to serve one another. Yours in Christ, Fr. Chris Rodriguez

How do we get there?

Growing forward, together! Expanding Trinity’s Ministries Our members’ talents and capabilities as a church have naturally grown with increased membership over the last four years. As Christians, we are called to serve God in many ways. New and exciting ministry programs are being considered.

We are blessed with a beautiful campus and grounds. Like many things in life, faith included, it must be nurtured and cared for to reach its maximum potential. While our church community and our physical plant are strong, we’re not yet accomplishing our full outreach ministry potential.

With aging buildings, the funds required for maintenance and repairs alone will continue to grow each year. Our plan addresses this opportunity directly through our Annual Fund initiative and the upcoming “Securing our Future” Endowment Campaign.

Currently our Annual Fund and reserve funds are used to maintain all of Trinity’s needs, including building maintenance and repairs.

With a planned campaign that will deliver a debt-free solution to maintain our buildings and grounds in perpetuity, parishioners

will have a secure home for generations to come. For our parish family, this is an exciting moment to maximize the opportunity for growing our ministry programs and realizing the vision our members have for Trinity Episcopal. We will be in a position to spend more time and resources expanding our ministry programs to fulfill needs for every age group in our community and parish.

Our Future Trinity’s 2017 Annual Fund will be used to fund the day-to-day operations of the church. The Annual Fund will lead into the new 2017 Endowment Campaign, which will be a restricted fund solely for the maintenance of our physical plant. It will ultimately allow us to utilize our annual funds for the purpose of growing future ministries.

New Ministry Possibilities With our combined Annual Fund and our upcoming Endowment Campaign, Trinitarians have the opportunity to help steer our ministry in a direction that serves our Christian mission in exciting and life-changing ways.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

Christian stewardship is rooted in gratitude for all that God gives us throughout our lives. We are called to be good stewards of God’s creations and gifts. Stewardship is an acknowledgment of accepting our gifts with grace and humbleness. Prayerfully consider your commitment to Trinity Episcopal for the coming year and our members’ ministry vision for the future. Our parish is totally dependent upon the generosity of our members. We look forward to the year ahead, including tremendous growth in our outreach ministries and securing the future of our physical campus.

And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” Mark 16:15

Please mail the enclosed Annual Commitment card to Trinity Episcopal or drop it in the offering plate by January 29, 2017. A copy of our 2017 budget is available by request. 772.567.1146 | ahiser@trinityvero.org
