Excellence in cleanliness and durability Research shows that up to 80% of dirt in a building comes in on the shoes of visitors, or on the wheels of deliveries. If it doesn’t get stopped at the entrance, it’s then carried all over the building, upping cleaning costs and increasing wear on internal floor finishes. Frontrunner elegantly traps and hides this dirt for easy removal during daily cleaning. When it comes to durability, we also score highly. Not only do we offer a three year warranty against manufacturing defects (page 60), but many of the photographs in this brochure feature installations which still look great after ten years service including locations in high traffic retail stores. This outstanding mix of style, cleanliness and durability comes from unique diamond cut patterns in various degrees of aggressiveness, combined with an open grid that’s big enough to allow dirt to fall through, but small enough not to trap heels or wheels.

Health and Safety Wet shoes and smooth floors can be a lethal combination. That is why all mats in the Frontrunner system are classified R11 under DIN 51130. What this means is that Frontrunner has been tested, when wet, to be slip resistant on an incline of 27º - and that’s steeper than all but black runs on European ski slopes!! Additionally, our matting patterns are designed to meet the requirements of the UK Disability Discrimination Act, providing sure and stable underfoot conditions.

FRONTRUNNER LOW PROFILE For 10mm recessed applications

Frontrunner Low Profile has a 10mm (3/8”) height which means it aligns with most standard ceramic floor tiles and carpet. This enables it to fit quickly and seamlessly with a current flooring, without the need to create a deeper mat well.

As Frontrunner Low Profile comes in the same colours as Frontrunner Entry, customers use it as a stylish and cost effective solution for secondary entrance areas, or areas that get a lot of external traffic.

Of course you get the excellent high levels of dirt removal and slip resistance you would expect from the whole Standard colours same Frontrunner range. as Frontrunner Entry, see page 46

Frontrunner Brush, as the name implies, has additional brush strips with bristles that scour snow, mud and other heavy contaminants from the shoe, boot or wheel. High quality nylon 6.6 brushes ensure durability and continued effectiveness.

Once again the mat’s primary use is external, keeping buildings dirt free under the most extreme conditions.

FRONTRUNNER PLUS CUSTOM LOGOS

The positioning of the scraper bars on Frontrunner Entrance Flooring Systems can be varied to allow the incorporation of a logo panel.

Logo panels are achieved by either die cutting with another compatible carpet or by ink jet printing, both methods giving a permanent and colourfast message.

Logo panels run the width of the matwell and are either 30 (12”) or 45cm (18”) tall, providing a highly visible message, in that all important ‘first impression’ area.

Frontrunner Entrance Systems incorporating logos, can be supplied for recessed systems or surface mounted modular mats.

FITTING AND CLEANING The Frontrunner Entrance Flooring system is simple to install. The purpose designed roll and frame system can easily be fitted by on site tradesmen without the need for creating templates in advance, or for site visits when floors are being poured.

Frontrunner is also very easy to clean within normal internal cleaning schedules and doesn’t require bespoke cleaning products.
