MEET YOUR MATCH AT THE TENNIS CENTER
Located in beautiful Bennett Flat Meadow near the waters of Trout Creek, Tahoe Donner Tennis Center is home to the most expansive tennis program in North Lake Tahoe. The tennis center boasts 11 hard courts, 10 pickleball courts, 2 practice walls, ball machines with serving features, a shaded viewing deck, an outdoor patio and Pro Shop for clothing and gear.

RESERVATIONS PROCEDURES + SAFETY MEASURES
New and existing regulations at the tennis center ensure the safety of players and staff members against COVID-19: • The center is open to members, guests and unaccompanied guests with guest card. • No player under the age of 18 is allowed without a parent or guardian. • Singles play from two different households is permitted, but groups of three or more are limited to families and people who reside within the same household, at the time of press. • All names and contact information of each participant are needed in case contact tracing is required. • Reservations are required to play at the tennis center. Court reservations will be accepted beginning at 7AM for members and 12PM for guests one day prior to the desired court time by calling (530) 587-9474 and choosing Option Two to make your reservation request. • The maximum length of time a court can be reserved is 1 hour and 30 minutes to allow for courts to be sanitized. Starting times will be staged every 15 minutes. • Each singles player must bring their own tennis or pickleball balls.
Each player, when serving, will only use their own playing balls. • While rental rackets are available, a new racket grip will be used each time to reduce the spread of germs. • Water fountains, showers and hand towels will not be available for use. The reusable water bottle filling station is available, and restrooms will still be available if necessary. • If using the bathroom or touching any object that may be unsanitary, wash your hands as soon as possible and use the provided hand sanitizer. • Face masks are required when entering and exiting the facility and when interacting with staff. Face masks do not need to be worn when on the court. • Show up no more than 10 minutes prior to your assigned start time and leave promptly at the completion of play and/or your assigned 90-minute finish time. • If renting a ball machine, a sanitized hopper will be given to the player/group. This will be the only item used to pick up tennis balls and place them back into the machine. No touching of the tennis balls is allowed at any time. ACCESS FEES
The tennis center is a private amenity open exclusively to Tahoe Donner members and their guests. An Amenity Access Fee is required for entry at each service area. Access fees may be adjusted due to COVID-19.

RENTALS
All rental equipment is wiped down before and after use. The tennis center rents rackets/paddles with overgrips being replaced after each use to avoid transmitting COVID-19. Rental rackets are available for $3+tax for overgrip replacement.

PRO SHOP
The Pro Shop is the best one-stop tennis supply shop in Reno-Tahoe. Offering tennis clothing and gear from BPassionit, TravisMathew, Bolle and Head/Penn, stop by or call (530) 587-9474. Cans of tennis balls are available for sale, but like any purchase at the Pro Shop this summer, all sales are final. Additionally, clothes and shoes cannot be tried on ahead of purchase to reduce the spread of germs.
FOOTWEAR POLICY
Only tennis-specific footwear may be used on the tennis courts; any shoe that isn’t non-marking will not be allowed.

PICKLEBALL
Combining elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis, pickleball is a fun sport for all ages and abilities. The courts are about 1/4 the size of tennis courts, requiring less mobility to maintain a rally and react to opponent advances. Check with the Pro Shop or visit us online at tahoedonner.com/pickleball for more information.
ENTERING + EXITING PROCEDURES
To enter the tennis center, go through the gate on the west side of Court 1 to the right of the intersection rock and proceed up the ADA access ramp. The entrance to the tennis center will be on the pathway between Northwoods Clubhouse and Pool. Here, line up six feet apart in front of the outside check-in window to scan your member card, pay for access and receive your assigned court. Head down the right side of all walkways and access paths. The exit for the tennis center will be on the west side of the facility between the Pro Shop and the upper two courts (10 and 11) and continue to the right of the intersection rock into the west side of the parking lot past the little wooden bridge. Face masks are required when entering and exiting the facility and when interacting with staff.
