TAI Gallery is very excited to invite you to our first juried exhibition opening May 31. The jurors struggled to select 16 artworks from among many beautiful and compelling pieces. We are proud to introduce and support new artists who are obscure in Japan and whose work has never appeared in the U.S. The exhibition is a richly diverse personality with artworks ranging from traditional baskets to contemporary sculptural forms. This is a unique opportunity to see the beautiful artwork of this new generation of bamboo artists. The "new generation" even includes a seventy year old!
