A week later the Lord saw fit to take him home to be with His lovely wife that he affectionately called Peaches. Sanford was the perfect man. He not only raised his children but he made sure that he played a roll in raising his entire family. He was affectionately known as “Diddy” by his children and grands. He took care of his nieces, nephews, grands, and great grands as well as he lovingly cared for his sister Christine Dubose. Benediction and Recessional

Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there; I do not sleep, I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in the circle flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night; I am not there; I did not die Mary Elizabeth Frye 1923
