Tails and Tales, a new luxury children’s wear brand offering contemporary fairy tale enthused clothing for boys and girls between 2 and 9 years of age.

Merging together storytelling and clothing in one, Tails and Tales presents an innovative concept that celebrates the magic of childhood. Each collection introduces a new adventure, inspired by fairy tales and dressing up.

Dressing up is an inevitable part of childhood: it feeds imagination, opens doors to discovery and self-expression, and unravels the magic realm of characters into the real world.

With a focus on design and practicality, using high quality fabrics and trimmings, each item is designed to keep kids entertained and parents happy. They combine high quality longevity with style and versatile fun. Tails and Tales’ range allows kids to reflect their personalities but is flexible enough to be worn as everyday items of clothing.

Tails and Tales’ first season is inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’s main characters of Alice, the Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter.

The brand was created and developed by Timothy Charles, a successful investment professional and, more importantly, a devoted father who recognized the lack of quality and versatile fancy dress.

Timothy brought his broad range of experiences and inspirations to develop the original concept behind the brand. These experiences include his role as a father but also his family’s background across the Middle East, the UK and Americas, all of which underpin the imaginative and fun theme running throughout the brand. Furthermore, Timothy has brought his experience in retail and finance to complement the design skills of Nat to develop a brand focused on quality, originality and most importantly fun!

Nat has developed her passion for children’s wear from her own international experience and background. She studied fashion in both Hong Kong and Los Angeles prior to graduating from Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London.

Before Tales and Tails, Nat worked and trained at a number of international brands (including Alexander McQueen) and brings her own original style to the brand.

The Tails and Tales collection has been inspired by stories and fairy tales from around the world but with specific attention to detail and quality: a combination not readily accessible in the current children’s wear market. However, it is Nat’s daughter that is the main source of inspiration for her design aesthetics and creativity and the catalyst for Nat’s career as a fashion designer for children.

This long dress with bold red heart and pretty bow detail has a fitted bodice with fully lined skirt beautifully gathered at the waist.

This exciting twist on the Queen of Hearts will transform a young princess into a beautiful queen of hearts. It can be complemented and paired with the Red Queen jacket for added twist.

This delightful interpretation of the Red Queen combines coral and red in a superbly cut dress that fits around the body, cascades down the front and flares boldly at the sides. It is finished off with a delicately ruffled collar and capped sleeves.

The dress combines with the Red Queen skirt and can be paired with the Red Queen jacket to create the ultimate red queen.

The Red Queen tailored jacket has a soft curved opening with single button fastening. The streamline collar stands up and out to add a stunning finish and a regal tailored look.

The Red Queen skirt is a short fun three-tiered skirt with elasticized waist and full gathered layers alternating from short to long on each side. With the Red Queen dress, the skirt adds volume and innovative style.

A soft full sleeved, cotton shirt with a subtle star outline on the front and back and a pointed double collar to finish it off neatly.
